Happy first of October. This year is flying by don't you think? Rather than bore you with another Stamping Bella image, I thought best to change it up and bit and share a Christmas card.
This adorable image is a digital from Sassy Cheryl's called 'come play with us'. This is just the sweetest image as I just love snowmen.
Again I used Polychromos pencils and blended with gamsol. I cut a white frame using MFT Stitched square frame die, The snowflake is from Memory Box, as well as the papers.
I added lots of glitter to the bottom for snow as well as around the image and a little pink glittered enamel dot to the center of the bow on the hanging snowflake.
This was a quick to do card, not a lot of colouring which speeds it up.
Thanks for your visit, have a wonderful day!

Acrobats
I'm back today to share a Christmas card. I can't believe we are already into September and I only have a couple done, really need to crack down!
This is a digital image from Sassy Cheryl's called Acrobats.
After resizing I used my poloychromos pencils to colour. Cut out with a stitched rectangle, then layered onto some dark red c/s.
The background designer paper was from my scrap basket, so unsure of the company's name. I used a sentiment from Penny Black - holiday snippets, and embossed using white e/p onto some black c/s.
Cut this out using a Spellbinders tag die. Added some red twine around the card and then adhered the tag and secured with a bow.
Used TH rock candy glitter for the snow.
Thanks for visiting today, have yourself a fabulous day!

Simplest of Gifts
Well here we are in the middle of April, one would think we would be seeing some warmer temperatures and sunshine, well we've had nothing but cold temperatures and lots of rainy days. Looks like another week coming up of rain every day, very little sunshine this week. It's not blustery cold by any means although we woke up to some freezing rain/snow mix yesterday morning, and it's still cold enough to have the heat on.
Rather than share a pretty flowery card I decided to share my first Christmas card of 2019!! This is a digital image from Sassy Cheryl's called Simplest of Gifts, and you can find it here.
I pulled out my polychromos pencils to colour this one. Once coloured I sponged some SU lost lagoon ink around the edges. I then trimmed it down to fit behind my frame.
I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto some lost lagoon cardstock with white embossing powder. Snowflakes were also cut from lost lagoon and some bazzill quartz c/s.
I added some foam tape behind the frame and popped this over my image. Snowflakes were added on top and under the frame. The sentiment was trimmed and added some foam tape to that as well on one end and adhesive on the other. Twinklets diamond dust & Tim Holtz rock glitter were added to the ground area, and pearls to the centers of the snowflakes.
I'll list the supplies below. Thanks for your visit today. Have yourself a fabulous day!

Man's best friend
Boy, do I have a cute Christmas card to share today! My heart melts when I see snowman, all shapes and sizes, cute and adorable, no matter what the style I love them all!
Today's card is a Digital image from Sassy Cheryl's. I tried to look for the image to link, but this one might be discontinued. I bought a whole bunch of images back in the summer when she was clearing out some of the older images.
After re-sizing and printing, I used copics to colour. I trimmed down the imaged and layered it onto a piece of dp - Fancy Pants - Bough of Holly. I used the front and back side of this for my card. Because of the way the red kind of looks distressed, I tried to make the snowman's scarf look the same. I used my clear copic to remove some of the red. Love the look once it dried.
I added a strip of gold peel-off along the top and bottom of the image just to finish off the edges. A white gel pen was used to add polka-dots to the snowman's had and the doggies scarf.
"Let it snow" is a die from Aliexpress. I cut this 2x, once from white glitter paper and the other from white cardstock, then glued together to give it a bit more stability. Snowflakes were cut from Memory Box dies. I cut one of the larger ones in half and adhered it to the the right edge.
Using my quickie glue pen I dotted all around the image and then added Tim Holtz distress glitter for that added sparkle.
I need to make a few more of this one, overall it was a quick card.
I hope I have inspired you today. Have a wonderful day!

Smells like Christmas
Hello friends! Sorry I haven't posted in over a week, but I've been busy working on a card order, the one that is a repeat of last years cards that I already posted. I finally just finished the last card last night for this order, but changed it up a bit so will post that one later.
But tonight I wanted to share a card that I made in between the card order that I am ecstatic about! I just love the way this one turned out. As soon as this digital image was released from Sassy Cheryl's called "smells like christmas' I just had to have it.
I resized the image along with the sentiment then coloured it using prismacolour pencils and blended with gamsol. I then sponged some clouds using MFT cloud stencil. I also sponged a bit of light blue along the ground just for a bit of shading/colour. I was going to just add glitter for snow, but went through some of my dies and came across this fence from Penny Black. I cut it out 3 times all from kraft cardstock, glued together and then sponged some distress gathered twigs. I then took my white gel pen and put some white highlights along the fence to resemble snow. I added some glitter along the fence and ground area.
I thought I was done but then decided I needed something up in the right corner. Pulled out a couple of branch dies, decided on this one from Penny Black and cut it from some white glitter paper.
I am just in love with this card, I don't even want to part with it! LOL.
Background paper is from StudioLight - Winter Feelings.
Okay, I'm off to work on another card. See you back here soon. Enjoy your day!

Nimble musicians of the air
Hello everyone! First I would like to say thank you or the wonderful comments made on my previous post. I thoroughly enjoy working with Penny Black brush stroke images. It takes a bit of time but the outcome is fabulous. I just wish you could see the card in real. I hope to have some more in the near future to share.
Today's card is a digital image from Sassy Cheryl's called Nimble musicians of the air. She has a huge clearance sale going on right now 75% off. The sale ends this weekend, it's well worth taking a peak. If you decide to purchase something in the "Classic' section, you can use discount code CLASSIC75. My grandson's birthday is coming up and unfortunately we won't be able to get up to see him, so we were there today and I took his gift along with this card.
Now, I must tell you, he is taking a liking to nature/birding- has a camera, Papa Bill (hubby) bought him a pair of binoculars and a beginners guide to birding. He loves it!! I think he is going to take after his Papa!
So, when I saw this image I thought of Ethan right away. I didn't have much time to get this card done, so after resizing and printing, I used copics to colour and prismacolour pencils for the grass.
The scallop edging is a die set from MFT - stitched cloud edges and the sun is from MFT (die & stamp set called Things with wings. I sponged some PTI aqua mist on the cloud edges to make it stand out a bit against the background paper which is from MME - fine and dandy - true blue. I stamped the sun on a piece of scrap yellow gingham paper. The sentiment is also in the same MFT set and I stamped this in black versafine.
I don't make many kids cards, but I really enjoyed making this one.
Thanks for your visit. Have yourself a happy day!
