Beautiful inking of it, and the black flecks in the background are just right. I seldom give up a sentiment set. I just learned Stampendous closed and sold remaining inventory to Spellbinders. They were one of my favorite companies! Also, I heard Heartfelt Creations will be closing by the end of the year. ps: I'm seeing a lot of birds at my feeders I've never seen before, or at least not in these numbers. It's mind blowing! Your background on the first card makes your spring meadow appear to go on and on. I love that little heart in the center, too. I'm especially smitten with the soft stenciling on your second card. It's like magic when you lift that stencil away, and easy to get hooked on it. I hope you'll have a chance to enjoy the upcoming weekend. I sometimes wonder if it will ever stop raining here.Leslie Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12242569371751832426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4490275258430426158.post-36943410416682243362023-04-01T13:59:11.384-04:002023-04-01T13:59:11.384-04:00Oh, Pauline, these are absolutely adorable! These dies are just as cute now as they were last year. I feel for you with your work situation. I wonder how many times I've said that. Your first card is truly exquisite. I joined the SB 2D embossing folder club, but wondering about the 3D. I need to try one folder first to make sure I can use it in my Big Shot. Your second card shows just how beautifully the stamps and dies work together, as you mentioned. What a lovely design with the arch and soft stamping. You know I love it when you stamp, but even more when you post. You're so good and you have the most beautiful things to work with! About the CASEing... well, gee, how many people bought this banner die and how many different looks can it have, I wonder? I just saw this embossing folder on another blog, too. You gave these cards your own touches and they're exquisite. There's so much out there it's hard not to have similarities, even unintentionally.Leslie Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12242569371751832426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4490275258430426158.post-48804816138925441042023-03-04T14:39:41.305-05:002023-03-04T14:39:41.305-05:00I'm not sure if I've ever seen such a pret...I'm not sure if I've ever seen such a pretty St. Patrick's Day card. You brought all these products together beautifully. If only we could all get along like that. Love the shamrocks with gold and white splatters, the gold leaves, sentiment, geez - everything! I'm glad you didn't get the snow as expected and now it's melting. The sun is shining here at the moment, but I don't know how long it will last. I'll be looking forward to those Easter cards, Pauline!Leslie Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12242569371751832426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4490275258430426158.post-18391841453505068582023-02-27T19:07:51.716-05:002023-02-27T19:07:51.716-05:00Hello, Pauline! Our little bit of snow was not disabling at all so it was just sort of fun. I really hope you don't lose any of your cedars. I know how beautiful they are. Love your cards today! The die and stencil is really pretty and the sentiments are perfect, especially the sentiment on the second card. Very fun! Cute little glittery shamrock toppings you added. I totally get it about not feeling like making cards after work and dinner. When I was a lot younger I would go to my room when I got my second wind, but I don't seem to have a second wind these days.Leslie Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12242569371751832426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4490275258430426158.post-38869458624021098112023-02-24T10:58:23.894-05:002023-02-24T10:58:23.894-05:00Hello there! I miss having my little basket at work for selling cards(but I don't miss work). These are fabulous and a great way to use scraps. I have plenty of those! I love your strips being the different widths and shades of pink and red. You do such a beautiful job of everything you put your mind to. I understand about the straightness of the xoxo. Such a beautiful flower stencil and very pretty card! The gradient blue with silhouette garden is beautiful in a totally different way. However, I do love a snowy scene, too. Comes right down to how I love anything when it's done so well as this. You always have the most interesting dies and supplies. Love the bow and wreath and all that smudgy red. The border frame die is pretty fabulous, too. Good luck getting all your birthday cards made, plus starting on next year's Christmas cards. That's what I'm doing, too. It's a real treat to see your card today!Leslie Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12242569371751832426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4490275258430426158.post-61191692432663619002022-12-12T15:18:50.080-05:002022-12-12T15:18:50.080-05:00Ohhhh, this is so beautiful! I dearly love the warmth of this and, of course, the sweet little bird. Our garden and feeders are in constant movement with many varieties of birds. I quit putting feed out for a while because of rats, raccoons, and deer, but I did something a little different this time and it seems to be working out better. I'm so happy! It's simply wonderful to see your card today, Pauline. Thank you! Enjoy your holiday vacation! I was getting kinda worried about you. I know how it is with the renovations. We've done it ourselves, plus had people in. Either way it's an upheaval and very time consuming. Lately it's been hard to get service people to come. No one is available, so do it yourself is the way to go or else hold off until things return to normal, if ever. You're going to love your kitchen when it's done! I loved hearing about it. Now, back to your card... gosh, the blend of color is so pretty, and the embossed background and the Pinkfresh flowers. I love Pinkfresh but have held off on buying more until I use the one set that's still unused in my basket. The background color reminds me of rainbow sherbet -- yummy! Thanks so much for checking in. This will hold me for a while, ha! No stress. Just enjoy life however you can.
