Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather even co-operated - sunshine and humidity, but I'm not complaining about the humidity yet! It's so nice to have heat rather than cold and damp rainy weather. I'm typing this up Sunday night, as I am doing so, we are experiencing some heavy rain, winds, they even have a tornado warnings out for our area.
For today's card I pulled out Teeoffabella.
I started by stamping her on bella's bestest paper and coloured with prisma colour pencils. I based my colours on some scrap paper I found in my scrap bucket. I believe it is from Bo Bunny. I used spellbinder oval dies to cut out the image as well as the scallop layer behind the image. I used the scallop EK Success border punch for the rust scallops. I thought the sentiment I used was perfect, and I know a lot of golfing friends, so I'm sure I won't have a problem sending this one out. Not sure if Emily still has the stamp in stock, I couldn't find it to link it up.
Finished the card off with some stitching, ribbon and I also added a turquoise rhinestone on the golf ball.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Dad's Day
Happy Friday Peeps! Today brings us to another bellarific friday challenge.
This week's theme was colours - Navy, Kraft and Green.
So with Father's Day right around the corner, I pulled out Baseball Peep - another cute image from Stamping Bella's latest release.
I began my card by stamping Baseball Peep onto bella's bestest paper and coloured it up using prismacolour pencils. I never think to do paper piecing until after I have coloured an image, but I was ahead of myself this time around and decided to paper piece the bat. I knew I had some scrap pieces of wood grain paper, so stamped the bat onto that and cut it out and viola! Easy peasy! I then cut out the image, sponged some distress broken china and stormy sky inks around the image, then stitched it onto some kraft and navy cardstock.
The DP is by Basic Grey - Oliver. Since I was making this a Father's Day card, I pulled out this sentiment, stamped it using black versafine and punched it out using a 1" circle punch, and layered it on a 1 1/4" kraft circle.
Finished it off with some stitching, scallop border and some bella dots. Pretty darn cute card don't you think?
To see more wonderful creations for this weeks challenge, hop over to Bloggabella to check it out.
For next week's bellarific challenge in honor of Father's Day is masculine cards. So how about making a card for that special 'guy' in your life - hubby, dad, brother, grandfather. There is some bella bucks up for grabs ladies, so be sure to email Emily your card by thursday night.
Have a wonderful weekend. May the sun shine warmly on your face! :)

Butterfly wishes
I just can't believe it is the middle of the week already, where did this week go? I guess that's what happens when you have a 3 day weekend, you just loose track of the days.
This will be a short post- (writing this late on Tuesday and I'm exhausted.)
For my card today, I'm using Butterflyabella. I thought it was a perfect spring kind of image- since the weather has been wonderful this past weekend, I actually saw my first butterfly of the season.
Image was stamped on bella's bestest paper and coloured with pencils and copics. I knew exactly what designer papers I wanted to use - since I was on the butterfly theme I pulled out my new 6x6 pack of Happy Go Lucky by My Minds Eye. The gorgeous pink seam binding ribbon was a gift from Cathabella. Thanks Cath! Also used this sentiment by Stamping Bella.
Finishing touches: Martha Stewart butterfly punch, glitter and some stitching.
Just a reminder for this weeks bellariffic challenge - colour challenge using Navy, Kraft and Green. Email your submission to Emily by thursday night - there is some bella bucks up for grabs!
Thanks for stopping by today.

Sit back, relax and enjoy!
Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Since us Canadian folks are enjoying today off, I think I will do just that -- sit back, relax and enjoy! The weather has been fantastic these last few days - no complaints here.
Today I have a new Stamping Bella image to share with you from Emily's last release. It's called TVPeeps! These Peeps are just so adorable! I think this image is perfect for Father's Day, what do you think?
I began with bella's bestest paper, black memento ink and prismacolour pencils.
Next I cut out the image using a rectangle s/binder die, left die in place and sponged some distress antique linen around the image. Designer paper is from Basic Grey's Pyrus 6x6 pad. Finished it off with some twine and buttons.
Enjoy your week, and thanks for stopping by.

Better late than never!
Sorry guys for not being around for the last few days. It's called no Internet!!
How did we ever survive before the internet days? We changed internet providers and supposedly we 'accidently' got disconnected. Well we went 3 days without it- but life goes on and we survived! LOL!
So today, I'm posting my card for the belleriffic friday challenge. This week's challenge was Paulabella's sketch. Last week I coloured up Diplomabella, so this week I pulled out Diplomafella!
Stamped diplomafella on bella's bestest paper and coloured with prismacolour pencils and blended with gamsol. I used some papers from My Mind's Eye Hattie paper pack. I used a sentiment from Verve and cut it out using a spellbinder grommet tag die. Used a zig zag die to cut the blue strip behind the sentiment.
Finished it off with 2 gold pearls, and some stitching.
I was just checking out all the awesome submissions over on bloggabella. Wow! the cards are amazing- there are some very talented sistah's out there.
Next weeks challenge is a colour challenge. Use Navy, Kraft and Green on your card - it's that easy. Email your card to Emily by thursday night for a chance to win $20 in bella bucks!! Also don't forget about our Forum challenge, you can read about it here, just scroll down past the cards.

A little Whine with that cheese?
I'm not talking about the wine you drink, I talking about whining! The weather has been down right terrible the last few weeks, well probably longer than that. It's dull and gloomy, raining almost every day, damp, cold - how is that for whining?
Where is our spring weather? The sun? what does that look and feel like - it's been a while since we had any. Okay enough about that, on with today's card.
So for today's card I pulled out Winobella.
I coloured her up using primsacolor pencils and copics, on bella's bestest paper.
I baste my colours on the pinks in this designer paper by K & Co. Dies used are lacey ovals, large oval, SU oval punch, EK success scallop border punch.
Finished with some stitching, brown pearls, and some glitter.
Just a reminder, you still have time to submit to Emily your card for this friday's challenge. Just scroll down to see the sketch on my friday's post.
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Forum news and Earl Grey Peep!
Hi Everyone! First I want to share with you some news about the Bella Forum.
I hope you get a chance to play along with us.
For my card this week, I pulled out Earl Grey Peep! I just love these peep images. Emily has released some more of these peep images last week, can't wait to get mine. Actually they are sitting at Linda's house, since she was so nice to bring them home with her after teaching in Bella land on saturday.
I stamped the image on bella's bestest paper and coloured with prismacolour pencils and blended out with gamsol. I paper pieced the cup using the back side of the floral designer paper. Cut the image out with the rectangle s/binder die and also cut a scallop rectangle using riding hood red c/s. Sponged some versamagic wheat around the image. I love it when image stamps come with a sentiment - so I stamped the sentiment with black versafine and cut it out using an oval s/binder die, again sponged some wheat around the edges.
The soft turquoise border strip was punched using an EK success abstract flower border punch. Next I layered a piece of cream lace the wrapped some red twine around that.
Finished with some stitching, clear glaze on the flower topped with a clear bauble in the center, and a small bow over the sentiment.
That's it for today folks, have a wonderful day. Thanks for stopping by.

Forumbella and Krafty Friday
TGIF!!! woohoo!!
I had my post to go up at midnight last night, but since Blogger had issues as man of you know I did not succeed.

Here is the link: Forum.
Okay now down to business. This weeks bellariffic challenge was to use Kraft c/s on your card. Pretty easy eh? For my card this week I'm using Cuddly Owlies.
I stamped the owls on bella's bestest paper and coloured using prismacolor pencils. Cut out the image using a circle s/binder die, as well as the red.Sponged some distress stormy sky ink around the image. Next I pulled out my new heart circle s/binder die and cut a piece of Kraft c/s. Distress the edges of the hearts using distress walnut stain. DP is from Basic Grey - Mellow collection. I stamped the sentiment in black versafine on kraft, then cut it out using the s/binder ribbon die, sponged some walnut stain while die was in place.
Finished with some red gingham ribbon, stitching and some glossy accents on the hearts.

Congrats Graduate!
So what did you think of the Stamping Bella's release on Monday? Pretty awesome don't you think. I loved every stamp so bought them all! If you haven't seen them yet, you can check it out here.
It's hard to believe but it is almost that time of year again, when the school year is coming to an end, and many are graduating. So in honour of all those grads, I thought I would make a card.
To share with you today I have Diplomabella.
Well you know the routine, I stamped it on bella's bestest paper using
black memento ink. I then coloured her up using prismacolor pencils and blended out with gamsol.
I used the oval s/binder die to cut her out and then sponged some wheat versamagic around her while leaving the die in place. The black layer underneath her was cut using s/binder labels #10. The black border on the left side is cut from the Floral Doily accent s/binder set, the black scroll accents are from the Parisian Accents s/binder set. DP is Cosmo Cricket - Circa 1934 6 x 6 pad.
Finished up with some glitter on the flowers, stitching and gold flat pearls.
Just a reminder about our challenge this friday. The theme is to use
KRAFT cardstock on your card. Email your submission to Emily by thursday night - some bella bucks are up for grabs.
Thanks for dropping by,

A Sneak Peak
Sorry for posting so late tonight, but just wanted to get this card posted, so you could have a sneak peak. Emily is having another release tomorrow, and she says this is her best one yet- but if you ask me I think all her releases are awesome!
The image I have to share is called Cupcake Princess Violet, another wonderful image by Mo Manning. I love the airiness of her dress, all those ruffles, so pretty!
I started with bella's bestest paper and coloured with prismacolor pencils - skin tones are done with copics. I coloured her in shades of soft pinks.
The designer paper is from a 6x6 pad of Prima Marketing called Fairy Flora.
All the papers is this pack are so pretty, I had a hard time deciding which to use.
Used my oval s/binder dies to cut her out as well as the scallop layer underneath. Finished up with a bow and glitter. I don't know how well you can see the glitter on her dress, so here is a close up view for you:
Some of the babes have already posted some sneak peaks, and I must say they are must haves! So be sure to check out Stamping Bella's website tomorrow to see what else is in the release. You will not be disappointed!

Flowers, flowers, flowers
That is our theme for this Friday. Happy Friday everyone! Looks like another rainy weekend in our neck of the woods. It was a beautiful day yesterday, nice and sunny and warm, everything is growing good in the flower beds, birds are chirping, the smell of freshly cut grass, and the nice aroma coming from neighbours bbq's.
So on with the card for today. Since the theme was flowers, I decided to colour up Gardenia Greenthumb. A perfect image for this weeks theme.
I stamped her on bella's bestest paper and coloured her up using prismacolour pencils. I based my colours of some new papers from Basic Grey Sweet threads.
Yes, I used this collection again! The colours are just so pretty.
Did some stitching on the card and added some turquoise seam binding ribbon, a deep pink prima rosette, and some glitter.
Hop on over to Bloggabella land to see what everyone else did for this week.
Next weeks challenge theme is Kraft. So incorporated Kraft onto your card in one way or another. There is some bella bucks up for grabs so email you card off to Emily by thursday night
Have a wonderful weekend. And to all the Mom's out there, have a blessed Mother's Day on Sunday!

Have a sunshiney day!
I sure wish the sun would shine our way! We've had nothing but a lot of rain over the last couple of weeks. Suppose to be sunny today, so we will see if the weather man is right!
I pulled out another image I have had like forever and has yet to see ink. With spring here I thought what better time than to colour up Veggiebella.
Doesn't she look good in red? When I decided to colour her I had this DP in mind - it's Basic Grey Offbeat. I think it goes very well with this image.
Well you know the drill, stamped on bella's bestest paper and coloured her with prismacolour pencils. Cut her out using an oval s/binder die, left in place and sponged some versamagic sea breeze around her. Green layer is cut using labels #18 (love this die!). Black border is punched using the SU Scallop Trim border punch. Also used this sentiment which was cut out with s/binder ribbon tag die.
Finished up with some stitching, ribbon and a bit of glitter.
Don't forget about our challenge this week ladies. The theme is Flowers! Email Emily your card by Thursday night- you never know this could be your lucky Friday - you could win some Bella bucks!
Thanks for stopping by.

Parisian Motif
It's Tuesday, not my usual post day, but thought I would sneak in a non-bella card for today.
I made this card a couple of weeks ago for my card basket, and managed to take a picture before I sold it. I was really pleased with how it turned out. Simple but pretty.
I stamped the image from Our Daily Bread using sage shadow ink, then stamped the sentiment (SU Blessed Mother) with black versafine. Cut it out with labels 18.
Next I cut the parisian motif out of sage shadow c/s. Designer paper is from a 6x6 pack of paper from Webster's Pages.
Finished it off with some pearls, prima flower and a bow.
Overall this was a fairly fast card to whip up. I can see me using this design again.
Enjoy the rest of your day. Thanks for stopping by.

Veronica by Mo
How was everyone's weekend? Can you believe it is May already. Now if it would just warm up. Weather was kind of gloomy here for most of of the weekend, so managed to get some colouring done - which always makes me happy!
For today's card I coloured up a new image (last months release) from Stamping Bella called Veronica by Mo Manning.
I went down to Paper Pickle on friday afternoon, and they just got in some of the new Basic Grey - Sweet Threads, so had to scoop up some of that yummy paper. Have you seen it yet? well I used some on this card, and I'm sure you will see me use is again. I don't think I will every tire of this collection.
So this is what I based my card colours on. After stamping Veronica on bella's bestest paper I coloured her using prismacolour pencils, and used copics for the skin tones. This stamp does come with a sentiment, but didn't use it this time around, but I needed something down in the lower left corner, so after trying ribbon, buttons, I settled on a flower. Not sure if I'm 100% sold on the flower, but it's on there now, so I guess I will go with it.
Finishing touches, glitter and some stitching.
For any local gals - I'm doing an afternoon class at Paper Pickle on Wednesday, May 4, so if you are interested there is still seats available. If you are, then give the store a call for details.
Thanks for dropping by, see you on Wednesday with another card.
