Another chapter...a new beginning

Hi everyone. I'm sorry if you have missed me this past week, but I am back.
It has been a very exciting then again stressful week.  Over the past 6 months I have been job hunting for a full time position.  I currently only work part time.
After several interviews and find out that I always seem to be runner up, I landed a full time position in accounts payable with a huge company in town  and I start Monday!! ( yep tomorrow) How exciting is that!!! So this past week, I was putting in between 8-9.5 hours days (I normally work 5 hour days) to get all my work caught up at my old place, so I could leave knowing everything was where it should be. Needless to say, I was not only physically exhausted but also mentally, hence the reason for no posts.  But from here on in you will see me on a regular basis again!

Which brings me to todays card.  I thought in celebration of my news I would colour up something to reflect that.  Here we have "Fabby" !  I'm sure I looked like this when I got the phone call! hehe. Well not really, don't think for one I could jump that high, nor could I extend my legs that far, but you get the picture!

I began by stamping her on bella's bestest paper using black memento ink. I coloured her up using copics.  The designer paper is from MME - Life of the Party. I used a layout that I saw on Karen Motz's blog, but now I can't find it to link it up!

Finished off with some stitching, and some brown seam binding ribbon.

Don't forget about our challenge this week, it's another sketch, this time by me!
Here it is in case you haven't had a chance to work on it.

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy the rest of your day.

Congratulations on the new job! That is fantastic news. I'm so happy for you. I would think that the large company will offer great benefits at a price much more reasonable than a smaller company can offer. I'm so happy for you! Your card is perfect to celebrate the occasion and your coloring looks like it was airbrushed (yes, it's THAT good)!

Way to go, congrats on your new job. I have been looking for a full time job as well in accounts receivable and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I land one in a large company as well. Unfortunately most A/R positions require French speaking and that's where I lose out.

I love your card BTW, it's gorgus sistah !!
