Fir & Foliage

Hi, I'm back today to share another Christmas card. I've been busy mass producing the cards I posted last week.  Those are quick cards as they are all die cut and no stamping.

For today's card I'm using a stamp set and matching die from The Greetery - Fir & Foliage No2.
I started one night just stamping a variety of trees in greens, blues, pinks, gray's etc.  I really liked the pink and gray together, so from that I build my card.

I didn't keep track of the distress oxide ink colours as I was just too busy creating them! I sponged the blue background using Tumbled Glass Oxide and Broken China oxide inks.  I then splattered some white paint.

The snowdrift die is also from The Greetery.  I love the pierced snow drifts on this.I added some foam tape behind the front pink tree and adhered the other two in behind the snow drift. Sentiment if from the Christmas Eve set also from The Greetery.  I added some little snowflake sequins and some tine circle sequins to the trees.  I also used the decorative tree trimming set to add that decorative layer to the gray tree.

These stamp sets are so easy to use, as they are multiple step stamping.  Just use my Misti and everything lines up perfectly.

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.  Have a wonderful day!

Oh, my word, this is so incredibly gorgeous!!!!! I love the pink and gray, the beautiful background, the snow. I want it all!! You must have had fun stamping out all the different color trees. I hope you'll share more of the colors. Love the one decorated tree, too. I'll get to the mass production later... after some coloring. I do have some plans for simple cards, but doubt any of them will be as pretty as this. I love your style, Pauline!

I love this set too...and purchased both...it’s been so fun. You’ve made a beautiful card, Pauline....I love the pink with the gray and the way you staggered them in a snowy field of white drifts of snow. Very festive and serene!!
