Brrrrr...

It sure feels like Winter is on it's way.  Yesterday and today have been cold with cold winds as well.  As I'm writing up my post it's only 59, but it feels colder than that. I think it comes with age - I never felt the cold before until the last 2-3 yrs! The long Thanksgiving weekend is suppose to be nice and sunny and around 70- now that's my kind of day.

So with the cooler weather we have been having, I coloured up another Christmas image for my basket.  Today I share with you Glideabella.

Doesn't she look pretty cool all decked out in her skating outfit? I tell you it's been a long time since I've been in skates - but like they say it's like riding a bike it comes back to you!
I started by stamping her on bella's bestest white paper and paired up my colours with some papers from last year's Cosmo Cricket - Mitten Weather (see perfect papers for a chilly day - you probably could wear mitts today!).  I added some white flock on the trim of her coat as well as her pompom.  The mauve snowflake was make with my new s/binder snowflake die called Create-a-flake Three and held it on the card with a brad.
Added some stitching and some glitter to finish it off. Card measures 5x5.

Think I will go make a pot of chicken noodle soup for lunches this week.
Enjoy the rest of you day, and thanks for stopping by,

Pauline

Yup, it's been cold and windy here all weekend too with lots of rain. Perfect weather for hiding in the craft room. And you've got this lovely card to show for it! Great touches with the glitter, flocking and I'm a sucker for snowflakes. Ack, why do you always show me such great new things?

Perfect crafting weather Paula! I'm so cold, I figured it was time to start making Christmas cards! Lol! Your card is adorable! I think she looks very stylish in her (faux)fur trimmed purple coat! Cross your fingers,............hopefully the weather will be better this week! :)
