Becoming x 2

Hello everyone.  Hope your week is going well.  Spring migration has arrived and I can't wait to get out there this weekend and enjoy the birds and hopefully get some pictures.

I have two cards to share with you today.  Same image just different colours.  I'm using Penny Black's Becoming stamp.  For best results in stamping these types of stamps I'm using my Misti.

All the stamps I used on both cards are by Penny Black.

Inks used on my first card are as follows: Memento inks: Lulu lavender, Elderberry.  Distress inks: Pine Needles, Peeled Paint, Twisted Citron & Seedless Preserves. Inks for sponging are: Memento - new sprout & PTI - simply chartreuse. Inside liner I kept blank to be used for various occasions.

Inks used for my second card:  Distress inks: Twisted citron, Crushed Olive, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss, Antique Linen, Dried Marigold, Abandoned Coral & Barn Door.  For sponging - dried marigold & spiced marmalade.  Inside liner I stamped Happy Mother's Day.

Finished both off by adding some sequins.
Have a  wonderful weekend!

Pauline

Hold me back, this is too much gorgeousness for one visit! You're so good with these Penny Black stamps and the technique you use, which you've absolutely perfected. The colors, the stamped corners, the sponging -- wow! I took a little trip back through your Penny Black category, sigh... Such beautiful stamps and you use them so well whether with this technique or solid or colored. Amazing! Your card designs are always inspiring, too. You're going to have a wonderful weekend and I'll look forward to pictures later. A lot of our birds have flown the coop now. We have more in winter than we do in spring or summer. Thanks for sharing these beauties today. I'm thrilled!

WOW! Pauline, these are gorgeous, and I am so impressed with the beautiful colors and the layout (everything Leslie said...she's great at expressing it). I recently watched a video by Jill Foster, and truly your cards are better! You have this technique down pat, and I am swooning. I have some of PB brushstroke stamps and must try this. You have inspired me (as you always do). Hugs, sweet friend, and happy birding!
