Hello everyone! It's a beautiful Spring day today, a bit on the chilly side, but hey I'm not complaining. It's around 50F, but the winds are cool, which made it nice for doing yard work today.
It's so nice to get the gardens cleaned up, to see all the new growth coming through. Still not done, but it was a good start today.
I haven't been doing too many cards lately, when it's nice out Bill and I are out scouting to see what new migrants have flown in the area. A couple more weeks and we should be in full birding season.
Can't wait!
I've had this image printed off quite a while ago, but just never got around to colouring it up. So last night that's what I did. Image is from Power Poppy - digital Cuppa Buttercups.
It was very quick card. I usually stress over the papers etc, but everything fell into place on this one fairly quickly.
Copics were used to colour, and I used the pointillism technique for around the flowers.
I used MFT stitched rectangle to cut it out. Papers are from MME- Stella Rose - Mabel papers.
This is old but I still have a few sheets left in this 6x6 pack.
I used some new sequins called 28 Lilac Lane - spring butterflies. Just love the assortment of spring colours, yellows, blue, clear, orange, clear butterflies as well as all the little sequin holes, which you can see I added them here and there. So pretty!
Thanks for stopping by today. Wishing you a wonderful day!

Vintage Easter Egg #2
Good morning and Happy Easter to all!
Today, I'm back to share another Easter card I made using Power Poppy's Vintage Easter Egg.
Being that this is a digital image, I was able to shrink the image to make it the size I needed. After printing it off, I coloured using copic markers. Sorry, I did not keep a list of colours as this was done a couple of weeks ago, and I was working on a couple of cards at the same time.
I used spellbinders circle, and circle blossom to cut our the image and layer underneath. Dark purple flag end is a die from Simon Says, and the larger flag end is cut using a die from Justrite.
Paper is by Prima - butterfly collection. I've had this paper pack for a while, just have a hard time using it because it is so pretty. Love the wood grain paper and all the soft delicate details papers as well in this pack.
To finish off I added some white seam binding ribbon, sequins, wink of stella clear pen, and a Studio Calico wooden butterfly, in which I added a layer of glitter to it using the wink of stella pen. It just gives it a bit of sparkle.
Well that's it for today. Wishing you a wonderful Easter.

Easter chicks
Good morning. Well it was a wonderful weekend, nice spring weather has arrived - finally, yesterday was around 70, just too bad I was stuck indoors at work to enjoy. Looks like another gorgeous day today as well. Which brings us to Easter, being this weekend, I have another Easter card to share I made for a co-workers little nephew.
The image is from LOTV (Lilly of the Valley).
I coloured the image using copics, and the ground using prismacolour pencils. I then cut the image out using MFT stitched rectangle I sponged some clouds using SU soft sky. I then cut a couple of clouds out from white c/s, using PTI cloud dies.
Designer paper is MME - On the sunny side.
Finished off with some glitter around the clouds, and on the egg for a bit of sparkle.
Wishing you a wonderful day! Thanks for your visit.

Vintage Egg #1
Thank goodness it's Friday! We woke up to some winter weather this morning - SNOW! But it didn't last. It's been a very gloomy week with lots of rain this week, but the sun finally came out this afternoon. This weekend is going to be fabulous with temps ranging from 50's to the 70's by Monday. Hopefully we have seen the last of winter weather.
With Easter next weekend, I've been busy making a few Easter cards. For my card today, I'm using Power Poppy's digital image Vintage Easter Egg.
After resizing to what I wanted, I printed it off and coloured using prismacolour pencils and blended with gamsol. I used a square die to cut it out, then layered it onto a piece of coral card stock which was cut using spellbinders captivating square die.
Paper is from MME Howdy Doody. I added some lace and blue silk ribbon, pearls and a prima flower to finish off. I also added some nuvo jewel drops orange marmalade for the centers of the yellow flowers, and wink of stella clear pen on the blue flower.
I will see you soon as I have 2 more Easter cards to share over the next week.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Tiny Townie Garden Girl
Hello all! Have you seen then new Tiny Townie Garden Girls released by Stamping Bella? She has just released another 5, but the one I used today was from her previous release. These girls are so adorable, and love how she created their clothing to represent the flower.
This is Tiny Townie Garden Girl Lily of the Valley,
I started by stamping her on white 100lb cougar cardstock using black memento ink, then used prismacolour pencils and blended with gamsol.
I used a PTI die set to cut her out as well as for my base card. Die set is called - Noted: Scallop A2 Vertical die. Designer paper is from Memory Box.
To finish off I cut out Simon Says Harrington Vine and then snipped part of it off to fit in the corner.
Added a small bow tied with silk ribbon, then added glitter to her dress and the lilies.
Have a wonderful day, and thanks for your visit.
