In Nature

Hi there! Here we are at the beginning of another week, and a very hot one at that. The weather has been brutal ever since last thursday, temperatures into the low 100's.  It's been very hot a humid and not much in relief until the weekend.

I finally finished my 29 card order and another 6 card order late last night.  Everything is packaged up and ready to deliver at work tomorrow.  Most of the 29 card order was for Thank you cards and I was able to do multiples of each, which really helped.  I will share some of those at a later date, but first I wanted to share a Father's Day card I made last month.

This one is using a Flourish LLC stamp set called - In Nature.

I stamped the image onto come canson watercolour paper using black memento, then coloured using my Zig Clean Colour Markers.  I then cut it out and layered it onto a some black cardstock cut using Justrite vintage labels two. I don't recall the top part of the designer paper, but the bottom orange wood grain is from MME. I also used Memory box stick frame border to add a bit of interest at the bottom of the card.

Finished off with some striped ribbon, some Stamping Bella - bella dots and I used my wink of stella clear pen to add a bit of shimmer to the water.

Supplies:
stamp - Flourishes - In Nature
ink - black memento, Zig clean colour markers
paper - SU black, MME, canson watercolour coldpress
dies - spellbinders - oval,  MME - stick frame border, Justrite - vintage labels two
misc - ribbon, bella dots, wink of glitter clear pen

Thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Pauline

That stick frame border is really cool looking. Nice work with the Zigs. No surprise there. You rock every medium. Hugs!

29 and then 6 more! You're a stamping machine, Pauline! This one is an ideal masculine card with the beautiful outdoor scene! Fabulous watercoloring, and love the sky. Wow! I would love to be there and Wally and LuLu would love the water. That wood grain paper looks so real I think I'd be able to feel the texture of it. The stick border looks awesome. I've been seeing that used lately and it's so cool. Love how you used some masculine ribbon on this, too. Boy, do I ever have some ribbon to use up. Don't know if that's ever going to happen. I hope it cools down for you soon. I couldn't bear it.

Oh, my, Pauline! I agree with Leslie that you are a stamping machine! And oh, that's hot! People always say it's too hot here in Florida, but where we live, we usually have the coastal breeze. Be careful and stay cool, bless your heart! Now, this card is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the DP you've used along with the amazing die to add great interest. I love it, and I love the ribbon too. What a wonderful masculine card, Pauline! I have so much ribbon and will probably never use it all. But I do enjoy using it for some cards like my last one. And I really love it on this card. It's very striking and a wonderful card! You are amazing and so talented, my friend! Love it all! Big hugs!
