Those male ducks are so beautifully colored they hardly look real. The waxwing in the first photo and the owl in the last do an amazing job of blending into their surroundings, don't they? These photos are awesome. They transport me. I think you and Bill might be responsible for my fixation on birds lately. I've had my eye out for bird stamps but haven't come across many. Yesterday a dove lit in a tree in our yard and it was exactly the same color as the bark. Our overwintering Anna hummingbirds went away for a while so I took down the feeders, but the other day they came back looking and I didn't have anything for them. Think they found some flowers, though. We have owls and hawks and blackbirds, woodpeckers, robins, all kinds of birds here since we live on the edge of the woods. They've been raising a ruckus out there in the mornings and I LOVE it!

Oh, Pauline! What gorgeous photos of amazing birds! Bill is quite the photographer, and I just love the male birds with their vibrant colors! Thank you so much for sharing these. I just love birds and have taken some photos from one of our trips to the west coast of Florida and had such fun getting photos of interesting birds and other creatures. Thanks, sweet friend! Hugs!

Pauline, these photos are gorgeous. You have a very talent hubby. Love the owl but then the colours in the ducks are stunning. I don't know how Bill can capture these moments so clearly. These are precious. I keep going back to look at the pictures over and over again. Thank you so much for sharing and hope we have an opportunity to see more. Hugs, Nancy

Stunning - love the owl!! Sorry I've been MIA, I've been back home quite a lot taking care of my mother who broke both her arms! I am now trying to get caught up on all my blog comments. Wish me luck😀
