Spring meadow bouquet

I hope everyone is having a good week.  This week is flying  right on by for me, so much that I almost forgot to post.  I was going to do it on Monday, but was so busy out in the garden (my day off), that it slipped my mind.

Anyway, here I am today, another Power Poppy digital image all coloured up and ready to share:
This image is called  spring meadow bouquet.

After resizing I printed it onto some white cougar 100 lb c/s.  I used prisma colour pencils to colour.
I didn't even keep track of the colours all I can say I used lots! I used Copic BG0000, BG000 for the shading around the flowers.

I used spellbinders grand calibur square die to cut the image out and then for my card base I used spellbinders Triple floral die. I cut two from this die, scored about 1" on the top back side and just glued the 1" part to the front, this way the recipient is able to open the card because of the score line.
Instead of dimensionals  I used fun foam for the backing of the image piece to lift it off the card base.

I added wink of stella clear pen to the flowers and  some  sequins. I think you can see all the shimmer from the wink of stella pen on this close up picture.

Enjoy the rest of your week, thanks for stopping by.

Oh, Pauline, this is gorgeous, and your coloring is exquisite! This is definitely a favorite image, and I know how you've used lots of pencils with this one. But, oh was it worth it! It's stunning, and I love this fancy die. I have it now myself and have been wanting to use it -- and I love how it works with this image! WOW, it's fabulous! Hugs, sweet friend!

Oh, good heavens! You do such an amazing job with your pencils, Pauline. What a beautiful work of art, and the way you've framed it with the pretty die cut card base is stunning! A breath of fresh air! I still have so many Power Poppy digis to color. I really got behind. I like that you left this sentiment-free, too. I've been doing that more and more so a card can be used for a number of occasions. The PP digis are great for that. So gorgeous and can be printed large to fill the card. I'm so happy to see your splendiferous work of wonder today!

Absolutely stunning. Love it. Must try to find the Power Poppy digis.
Sooooo excited - the swallows have arrived, they have travelled such a long way to get here just wish I could give them some titbits to say welcome.

Much love,

Pauline, what an amazing card. I love the die cut base and of course no one can colour like you. Your colour selection and colouring technique is top notch! Some lucky person will cherish this card forever. This is one of my favourite Power Poppy digis. The image is sized just right. Enjoy your weekend and thanks for sharing your gorgeous creation. Hugs
