Beautiful Camellia's

Well it's almost the end of another week, and not only that, the month of February!  Where is the time going.  You know the saying - March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb or vise versa, well it is coming in like a lion - more snow! - no, no, no - another 5-8 cm on Sunday! Okay enough of that!

For my card today, I have another Power Poppy digital image - Camellia's.  You can find Marcella's digital stamps here.

I love working with digi's because I can make them an size I want.  After printing I coloured using copics.

I kept the design simple for this card, did some embossing along the bottom of the card, added some washi tape along the top and bottom of the designer paper.  Finished off with some yelllow gingham ribbon, wink of stella pen on the flowers and pearls along the bottom.

Supplies:
Stamp - Power Poppy digital Camellias
ink-  printer, copics - leaves - YG03, YG21, YG17, YG67, YG99, flowers - Y32, Y38,  YR27, YR65, R11, R22, R24, stem - E57, shading - B000, BG10, B95, B52, YG21
Paper - cougar 100 lb white, Webster designer paper
Dies - spellbinder - labels twenty, oval, eyelet border
misc - gold krylon pen, pearls, wink of stella clear pen, yellow gingham ribbon, deminsionals, little "B"gold washi tape

Thanks for stopping by.  Enjoy your day,
Pauline

I tell you, I can't get enough of your gorgeous cards with your superb coloring and fabulous designs! I love what you did with the ribbon, and the card is simple enough to not compete with the beautiful image, yet it has lots of beauty and interest of its own. The gold trim and and the pretty finish on the lower edge are just perfection! Honestly, your coloring of the image simply overwhelms me. I love digis. They're just the ticket for one who enjoys coloring. You can have a million of them and never run out of room in your stamping space!

Hi Pauline,
I haven't blogged for over a year now. But every time I check out blogger I catch one of your gorgeous cards. I have purchased most of Marcella's beautiful digis, but I haven't coloured any, yet. Your florals are beautifully coloured, and I always love your card designs.
I hope your weather improves soon. My brother lives in Canada, but on the west coast, Vancouver Island. You are so lucky, as Canada is such a beautiful country!
Sending (((hugs)))

Okay I am totally stealing the way you used the ribbon on this card. That is gorgeous! Beautiful coloring on the camellias and you are getting as good with that Krylon pen as Katie. LOL Hugs!
