Baby girl

Hi everyone.  Hope you had a good weekend.  Can you believe we are into the last week of August already? How did that happen?

I'm just popping in for a quick post tonight.  I had a request for a 'baby girl' card a few weeks ago, and this is what I came up with.

I started by using a stamp set from Rubber Stamp Tapestry called Baby set.  I love these types of stamps, they are all small little stamps on pegs.  I have so many of these sets, it's been a while since I used them. I stamped the word Baby, then with the peg stamps I added the flowers then the greenery. I then cut this out using a spellbinder circle die,  left the die in place then sponged some light pink inside the die.

The rest is self explanatory so I won't  bore you with all the detail.

I've had a couple of emails asking me the name of the border: it is Spellbinders A2 Scalloped Borders One.

Thanks for stopping by, have a good week.

Ohhhh, Pauline, this is so pretty! The sweet pink gingham with the borders of die cut, lace, and silk ribbon is perfect for a baby girl. I don't think I've seen that particular border die, but it is fabulously gorgeous. The peg stamps are probably great for tiny images like those flowers and leaves. So dainty and delicate! This is sweetness all over and I just LOVE it! Love baby cards in general. Haven't made one for a while. Dang, got a new baby die, too. Will need to get busy on that. Have a great day!

OH Pauline.....how utterly adorable! I love the dainty flowers you added to your sentiment and pink gingham....is there anything any better for a baby girl card?! This will look right at home framed up on the wall of some very lucky little girl's nursery! So happy I got to see your beautiful work this evening! :) Hope you are doing well! :)

Pauline this is so precious and sweet just as a baby girl card should be. The lacey feel of the dies is perfect. Just as sweet as can be. Beautiful job.
