SSSC #206

Hi.  I thought I would take advantage of doing this weeks challenge over at Karen Giron's blog -
Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge #206.  I very rarely ever have time to do the challenges that are out there, but since I have the day off, and was able to finish off some chores that needed to get done this morning, which leaves the afternoon just for me!

Here is the sketch :

For my image I'm using one of the stamps from the Flourishes set called Sunflowers.  This is the smaller version in the set.

Image was stamped using black memento, then coloured using copics.  Y21, Y23, Y28, YR23, G43, G99, YG93, E33, E59.
After cutting the sunflower out using a Spellbinder Circle, I sponged some distress antique linen around the image leaving the die in place.  Layered this onto a piece of dark amber/rust coloured c/s which was cut with a Spellbinder scallop circle.

Designer paper is from Prima - Sun Kiss.  I thought the card looked kind of plain at the bottom so I added a sentiment.  I used Just Because from PTI - Asian Fusion.  For the top part of the sketch I used a chipboard button.  I finished off with some glitter in the center of the  sunflower using my Wink of Stella pen, then applied a coat of Glossy Accents. I love how the glitter shimmers through the glossy accents.

Thanks for stopping in today.  Next up I will share a digital image I coloured.  Stay tuned.
Have a great day!

Pauline

Oh, Pauline! A perfectly beautiful card with the sketch using one of my favorite Flourishes' sets! Wonderful, soft, earthy but pretty colors. Love the chipboard button accent. I can't wait to see the digi you colored!
