Peace, hope, love

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends who are celebrating today!

Today's card is a digital image from Power Poppy called  "Felt leaves and fruits".  I bought this last winter but never had a chance to colour it up.

After resizing and printing, I used copics to colour.  I then used Simon Says, stitched circle to cut the image out and layered it onto white c/s cut using MFT stitched scallop circle die.  I stamped the sentiment from the Simple Joys set using black versafine.

Paper is old - I mean old - the stripe is from MME - Laundry line (date on it says 2008) and the background green is from Fancy Pants - Christmas Magic (dated 2009).

I added some gold chiffon ribbon, tied 2 bows and layered them, for more fullness.  Add wink of stella clear glitter to the purple berries.  This is really pretty in real!

Well that's it for tonight, heading out to choir practice.  Enjoy your weekend.

Gosh, I bought this whole set last year and printed all of them, but haven't colored a one yet. I was thinking the outline looked so dark when printed, but clearly it colors up beautifully! Certainly when you color it -- gorgeous! Now you've got me all inspired. This wreath is in one of the new clear sets which I bought and hope to color soon. Love your fluffy gold bow and old paper. Sheesh, if it wasn't for old paper I'd have no paper at all! Good to see you today, Pauline!

What a beautiful card, Pauline, and I'm clearly not alone in having OLD patterned paper! We all could have a contest, right? Haha! Love your gorgeous style and that chiffon ribbon! Hugs!
