Hello everyone. Just thought I would pop in for a quick post tonight before heading off to bed. I tell you with the clocks going back an hour last night, I was awake around 4:15, which really is 5:15 on the old time, so that is about the time I awake during the week. So needless to say, I'm getting tired.
Yesterday, we went up to Mark & Anna's place to celebrate our grandson James' 7th birthday, and guess what? I forgot to take a picture of the cute card I made him (grrrrrr). I didn't realize it until after we got home. Next time I'm up there I will have to take a picture so I can share it with you.
I've been busy working on cards, some Christmas, some sympathy, and some birthday for an order.
I finally got around to taking pictures tonight of them.
For my card tonight, I'm using Power Poppy's digital image called Glittering Glass Santa. I already had some resized and printed off from last year, but never got around to colouring them.
I used copic markers to colour the image. MFT cross stitch rectangle die to cut out the image, then left the die in place and sponged some bundled sage distress ink around the edges. I stamped the sentiment from a Penny Black set called 'holiday snippets'.
I pulled out some very old Stampin Up dp, not even sure of the name. Also added some velvet teal ribbon, and added clear wink of stella glitter pen to the fir on santa as well as the christmas balls on the pine branch.
Well that's it for me tonight. Thanks for your visit. See you real soon,
Pauline

Oh, Pauline, this is gorgeous, and I love the color palette you've used! I always love your amazing coloring, and the sponging is beautiful. I seem to remember this SU DP, and it's perfect! Beautifully done, as always, sweet Pauline! You surely get up early, so you must be tired much of the time. Hope you catch up soon. I absolutely love the newest little birds on your banner...just the sweetest! Have a wonderful week, sweet friend! Hugs! xoxo
You mean we'll be treated to even more cards soon? You just made my morning! I sure hope you'll get a photo of your grandson's card. I'll bet it was darling. Kid's cards are so fun! Now I just love this one! Beautiful color palette those papers gave you and, of course, beautifully colored as well. Your sponging is perfect for this image. So soft and pretty. And scalloped velvet ribbon? Really? Love that! I was glad for the time change this year because after a restless night I overslept (yes, I still set an alarm), and when I got up it was an hour earlier, so I didn't oversleep so long after all. Hope you catch up on your sleep!
I tend to forget to take pictures at times myself. ;-) Your santa looks wonderful, these colors are warm and perfect. Beautiful card.
Love this done in the teal and green. Very classy and very classic. Hugs!
