Mr Purdy

Well, I'm back in the land of the living.  Over the last week and a half I've been sick with a cold - it's hitting a lot of people around here, very soar throat, headaches, cough - a never ending cough, etc.
I haven't had the energy to do much after working all day, come home have a bite to eat and that's about it - it just drains you.  I still have my cough but not as bad, and the soar throat seems to have left today - thank goodness!

So that's the reason for not posting.  Good thing I have a few on reserve.  Remember last month I posted Mrs. Purdy, well today I have Mr Purdy to share.

Love these plump snowman!

I coloured using prisma colour pencils.  Paper is from my scrap bin, I believe it is from MME. I used Simon Says stitched circle die, and an EK Success border punch.

To finish off I added lots of glitter and some Stamping Bella dots.

That's it for today.  I sure hope I get my mojo back working.  I have a card order to get done as well as my own Christmas cards.

Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.  Back soon,

Pauline

I feel like I've been handed a special treat seeing your card today! A blog friend just sent me several Plum Purdy images all stamped out and this is one of them. They don't make them anymore. So darn cute! Your coloring is fantastic, of course, and I absolutely love the punched border. I'm sorry you've been so miserably sick. Stamping and blogging is the farthest thing from your mind at a time like that. Funny how little it matters, but then when you feel better you're anxious to get back to it. I hope you're 100% soon. I know the cough can hang on forever!

Don't know what this fellow has been eating but he's about to pop the buttons on his vest. LOL He's fantastic. Quite a character and another lovely card design. Hugs!
