Hi there! I can't believe it is February 1st! Where did January go? I"m just popping in tonight to share another Power Poppy creation. I had this digital image - forget-me not printed off for some time, so finally got around to colouring it.
I used prismacolour pencils and blended with gamsol.
I used a spellbinder oval die to cut out the image, and then used spellbinders elegant ovals to cut the layer behind.
Papers are from Memory Box.
I used corner rounder on the top layer and then added a small flag banner using one of the dies from MFT die-namics blueprints #27 set.
To finish I added a silk ribbon bow (this was white and I used a copic maker close to the paper colour to colour the ribbon). I also coloured the wooden heart in the center with the same copic marker. A bit off glitter on the flowers and voila!
Thanks for your visit today. See you again real soon,
Pauline

Ohhhh, so pretty! I had this one printed, too, but made a mess with the coloring and had to toss it. I'm having one of those "now, why didn't I think of that" moments... the heart in the center is such a cute idea! Love the layout/colors/papers. I hope to see you again real soon. I need to stamp more. Maybe we should make a pact.
What a lovely, sweet card. Again everything you create matches. The image and colours remind me of spring. What a cute idea to place a wooden heart in the middle. Love how you take a white ribbon and change the colour to match your paper. It looks like you are back!
Oh, Pauline, I LOVE your card! I agree with Leslie that the sweet little heart in the middle is perfect! And I always love your layouts and beautiful DP (and your "signature" bows). Beautifully colored and completed! Love it, sweet friend, and I've been late with commenting. You know how life is, right? Sending warm hugs! xoxo
So sweet and delicate Pauline. Just perfect for the coming spring.
