You spice up my life

Happy Monday!  It's a gorgeous day here in SW Ontario - sunny, cool feels like 27F, but a nice treat from a cold weekend that felt like 10F.

I've always wanted this set from MFT and had a chance to purchase it end of last year when they had their Wednesday sale going on.  The set is called "recipe for happiness'.  I made this for my basket at work for Valentines.

I sponged MFT grout gray ink through my brick stencil onto white cardstock.  I then used die-namics blueprints #15 to cut it out.

I used the matching die set to cut out the 'chef' and then used copics to colour. I also cut out a few spice bottles and coloured as well.

Paper is from my scrap basket so not sure of the designer.  I embossed the sentiment using white embossing powder onto a piece of black c/s cut using a flag end die  MFT die-namics blueprints 27.

To finish off I added some enamel dots.

I hope your having a wonderful day.  Thanks for stopping by.

Pauline

When I see a card like this I wish I was still selling cards at work, so I'd have a reason to make more variety. I had to go look up the set. Dang, it's so cute!! Dozens of possibilities. I love what you did here with the stenciled brick background -- just a soft suggestion. Perfect paper, cute design. I just love it to pieces!
