Olive & Oak Trio

Hello! I hope everyone enjoyed your long weekend.  I can't believe we are into September already - where did the summer go? And today marks another heat wave for the next couple of days.  It was over 100F today as it will be until Thursday when we have a cold front move through with rain.

A few weeks ago Power Poppy had a big sale going on so I took advantaged and purchased some digital images.  I resized and printed some Olive & Oak images with good intentions of doing some colouring.  My Minc machine was still on my craft table, so I gravitated to a piece of foil that I used on one of my latest projects, placed it on one of my laser printed images ran it through the Minc and voila,  an instant card! I was sold on this look for sure. I ended up doing 3 cards.

gold rose foil:

silver foil:

gold foil:

I guess it is hard to see the foil in the pictures. I should of took an angle shot of them.

I used MFT wonky stitched rectangle die for all 3.

Thanks for your visit.  Have a wonderful day,
Pauline

Oh, Pauline, what an enabler you are! Oh, how I love these, and I've seen what Tosh does with her Minc machine and love it! These are beautiful, and what great sentiments you have for each one. What great cards to have on hand and also to use as gift sets. Beautifully done! Hugs! xoxo

Look at you. Three cards. They are simple yet so elegant. I like your finishing touches with the different positions of your ribbon. I love that these cards are soversatile. I guess I should put a Minc machine in my wish list.

Well, of course, I clicked up close on each card and it's easier to see the foil then, and so beautiful! I've never seen the rose foil before. See, this is what's so great about Marcella's images -- they're so beautifully detailed they don't even need color. Sometimes you can even appreciate them more without color. I always love an image in gold or silver, anyway. Very elegant. This image in the clear set is on my fall coloring list. I sure hope I can get to it. The list is very long! I was excited to see your post today, Pauline. You always inspire me!

Beautiful with a touch of class using the foil. I do like the crisp and clean feeling.
