Final Bella post and beautiful storm skies

Hi everyone, happy Wednesday.  Well I must say the past 2 months have flown by so fast, I can't believe this will be my last Stamping Bella guest designer post.

First - for my post today I'm using Mason Jar of flowers - very fitting for me because as you know how much I love flowers.

I stamped the image onto some cold press canson watercolour 140lb paper using black memento. I used my Zig  clean colour makers to colour.

Paper is from Memory Box.  I used spellbinders A2 curved borders for the  edge of the strip paper.
I added wink of stella clear pen to the flowers and water. Added dry glitter around the flowers and also some rhinestones on the frame and center of bow.

Supplies:
stamp - stamping bella - mason jar of flowers
ink - black memento, zig clean colour markers
dies - spellbinder - oval, floral ovals, A2 curved borders one
paper - canson water colour 140 lb, dark purple bazzill, white cougar, Memory box DP
misc - rhinestones, wink of stella pen, water brush, hero arts glitter, quickie glue pen

Secondly, on Sunday night we had some really bad storms go through  around 8:30- 9 pm. This was due to very high temps all day, lots of humidity, feeling like over 100F.  It lasted for about 1/2 hour or so, it was really dark, heavy, heavy rains, you could barely see outside it was coming down so hard,  and strong winds. When it was over, I was sitting in my craft room, looked outside and it was like it was 2:00 in the afternoon. It was so bright - looking out to the East you could see blue skies and sun - it was very strange have it that bright  at 9:30 pm.  I grabbed my camera - a little sony point and shoot and these are the pictures I took.  They are all tree top/roof top pictures to capture the skies. Over the span of about 10 minutes the colours varied as you can see below. The colours were so vibrant.  I didn't not touch up the colours, what you see is exactly what I took.  It was really amazing!

Thanks for you visit today. Have a wonderful day!

Hi Pauline. It was so enjoyable you being a Bella host. So sad it is over. I forgot about this Bella image. I love your colour combinations for both the flowers and background. You are the "master" of colour! You are correct, a very fitting image for you. Your pictures are amazing. Hard to image the sky changing colour so quickly and having it so bright at night. Thanks for sharing especially since I didn't see these amazing sky changes. Of course we would find you in your craft room at that time. Have a great day.

First of all, your card is so darling! Such delicate sweet flowers and I just love how you colored them. This style of stamp really appeals to me. Pretty and whimsical at the same time. So cute that you put the rhinestone on the bow. I've sure enjoyed all your Bella posts! Now, those sky pics -- WOW! I clicked on all of them before I read and I was thinking how odd that the sky was a different color in each. I thought maybe they were all taken on different days. Then I read your story and I'm fascinated! Orange to pink to purple and then back to pink again. That's quite the storm! We don't get severe weather this time of year. It may drizzle through June, and it's frequently windy right here close to the ocean, but nothing you could call a storm. So odd that you had the extreme brightness afterward at that time of night. Eerie! I'm sure glad you shared the pics!

Oh, Paula, you've been a wonderful Paulabella these last two months, and you've delighted us all with your cards. I so love this image and have been tempted to get it. I love how you've colored it and used beautiful DP and a lovely layout! Love the scalloped die, along with the beautiful gems and even some glitter - and of course, Wink of Stella! Oh my, what amazing photos, and I'm so glad you got to see the sky change so and light up that late at night. Yes, the sky colors change so quickly, and you've really captured the beauty! So glad you did and shared them! Big hugs, sweet friends, and we'll see you soon!

Im so glad you agreed to do the guestie spots. You are a Bella at heart. :-) The flowers are gorgeous. They kind of match with the sky photos you took. Glad you are safe and sound. Hugs!
