Gift of spring

Hello everyone. I'm back tonight to share a card I made yesterday on my day off.  Not only did I manage to make a card, I cleaned up my stamp room. What a job that was, I came across stuff I didn't even know (well probably did but forgot) I had.  I have way too much stuff! I need to have a sale someday just to purge some of the stuff I never use.

So onto my card.  I needed an Easter card to pop in the mail along with the St. Patricks day card.
I'm using an Easter set from SU called - Gift of Spring.

I stamped the image using black memento and colouring using copics! After it was cut out using an oval die, I used my gold krylon pen around the edge. For the layer behind the image I did a colour wash onto some water colour paper.  I used spellbinder large oval scallop to cut it out.

The rest is pretty straight forward.  I added wink of stella clear pen on the flowers , added some ribbon and sequins to finish off.

Supplies:
stamp - SU - gift of spring
ink - black memento, distress inks - peacock feathers, pickled raspberry, twisted citron, squeezed lemonade, copics - E31, V0000, B0000, G00, R00, R81, R83, Y00, Y11, Y13, 18, Y38, YG01, YG23, YG67
paper - white cougar 100 lb, canson 140lb water colour paper, bazzill pink
dies - spellbinders large oval scallop, oval
misc, - SU embossing folder, gold krylon pen, sequins, ribbon, wink of stella clear pen

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope I have inspired you today.

Pauline

Oh, my gosh, it's so sweet and adorable! Your coloring looks so soft. Love the way you color washed the scalloped mat. Wow! A perfect blend of Easter colors. Perfect framing, and love the ribbon on the diagonal and those sweet little sequins. So fabulous to see one of your cards today, Pauline!

Oh, Pauline, I love this sweet spring card, and I too love the color-washed scalloped die behind your image. It's beautiful. And what a lovely card with the embossing folder I always forget about! I so admire that you've cleaned your craft room. I've tried a little here and there, but it still needs a lot of work. I've been trying to reorganize it slowly over the last six months, but it takes time. So happy you did! Hugs!
