Ah, I finally made it back to my blog to post a card! Last week was crazy busy, working lots of overtime because of quarter end, so by the time I get home from work I'm pooched!
But today was my flex day, so Bill and I headed out of town till mid afternoon to do some bird photography.
Knowing that I haven't posted since last Sunday, I sat down before dinner and pulled out one of Power Poppy's newest stamp set Go Wild and coloured up this:
I used prismacolour pencils and blended with gamsol. I'm entering this into Power Poppy's challenge this month - Pencil me In.
After colouring the image I cut it out using one of the dies from the spellbinder labels 40 set. Paper used is from Simple Stories - vintage bliss. When I normally make A2 cards I always have the fold on the right side, well this time I did something different, I made the fold at the top and rounded the bottom corners
To finish off I added some tiny clear sequins and used my wink of stella pen clear to add a bit of sparkle to the flowers.
supplies:
stamp - Power Poppy - Go wild
ink - black memento, prismacolour pencils - leaves - artichoke, olive green, flowers - deco pink, pink, hot pink, process red, magenta, sunburst yellow, yellowed orange, tetra-cotta, imperial violet, violet blue - jar - electric blue, parrot green, ground shading - sandbar brown, french grey 90%, background shading - deco aqua, light green, electric blue
dies - spellbinders label 40
paper - cougar white 100 lb, light aqua, simple stories - vintage bliss
misc - PTI white satin ribbon, clear sequins, clear wink of stella pen
Thanks for sticking with me, see you again real soon. Up next is a wedding card.

Beautiful, Pauline! I just love this image and have colored one up already...so sweet, and I love your colors and pencil coloring! I love the die you've used with the DP, and that ribbon is a perfect finishing touch!! Hugs!
This is just gorgeous, Pauline! Everything you make always comes out so pretty! How do you do that? Honestly, you just have a gift! Love your soft coloring with the pencils. I've fallen in love with pencils since Christine's challenge and have some work I haven't shared yet. Thinking about ordering more Prismas. Love the top fold card with the rounded corners, too. I never think to round the corners. It's so nice to see this today!
Hi Pauline,
Just love this card - so fresh and summery. Just gorgeous.
Much love,

Sweet as can be. I can almost smell the perfume of these pretties. Your work is always so clean and crisp. Hugs!
