Uptown Lolly

It's been a while since I coloured up an Uptown Girl by Stamping Bella.  My friend at work needed some Easter cards to give to a few young adults (early 20's) and when she saw one of my Uptown Girl cards she asked if I would make her some.  Of course I will - right!

For my first card she picked Lolly and her Brolly- I love how she turned out, the vibrant red, and the flowery background, just so springy looking.

I started by stamping her on white cougar 100 lb using memento black ink.  I then coloured her using copics and the shading around her was done with prisma colour pencils.  I didn't have a die the size I wanted so I just trimmed her down, then layered her onto a piece of SU bermuda bay c/s and then stitched around the edges.

Design paper is from MME - Lime twist - Life of a Party.  I added a piece of gold washi tape along the top of the striped paper.  To finish off I made a fish tale out of a piece of scrap tucked it behind the image and then added a flower on top held together with a brad.  And of course glitter on her coat and umbrella and glossy accents to the center of the sunflower.

Ah, I just love this card! Just saying - :)

supplies:
Stamp - stamping bella - Lolly and her Brolly
ink- black memento, copics - R20, 21, 22, 24, YG03, 17, E000, 00, 01, 08, 11, 51, 53, 55, 57 Y11, 15, 17, BG0000, 000, 10, 13, 15, 32, 34, prismacolour pencils - parrott green, light aqua
paper - cougar white 100 lb, SU bermuda bay, MME - Lime Twist - Life of a party
misc - glitter, gossy accents, washi tape, prima flowers, brad (basic grey)

Thanks again for the visit, see you soon....

Oh, my gosh, I love it, too! Happy me to see this darling cute image and your fabulous coloring! I love red -- so cheerful -- and with those cute papers... perfection! Really like the flag with the flower. You've never made anything I didn't just love. I mean, do you ever make a crummy card? This one makes my heart smile!
