Hello....

Hi, today I have this really cute digital image to share with you.  He is so ugly he is cute!! LOL.
I came across the owner of this hand drawn digi 'birds' over the holidays, finally got around to print it off and colour.  You can find them over on her blog here. You will have to scroll down thru to find them, I love her Christmas 'birdies". She had these digi's free over the holidays, she has now been approached to sell her new images in a Swedish stamp store.

I started to colour  using copic E40, then I changed to prismacolour pencils and continued.  I found I am able to do better shading with pencils then I am with copics.

I used Spellbinders circle die to cut him out.  Designer paper is from Pebbles - Family ties. I wasn't sure how I was going to finish off this card.  Thought of stamping a sentiment on the image, then thought what if I don't like the look of it, and I didn't really want to take the look away from this cute guy, so pulled out some word dies.  I decided to go with "hello" from PTI.  Added some pop dots behind the lettering and popped it up on the card.

To finish off I added some little white dots on his cheeks using my white uniball pen and then added some blue metallic pearls.

I hope you like my little 'birdie' as much as I do!

Have yourself a wonderful day.  Weather was awesome today, we were sitting at 0C - it felt like a spring day.

He's fabulous! I'm going to have to go check her work out. He's so fun with that big head and those long legs. I think the word die was the perfect way to go Pauline. Love this!!! Hugs!

He's so unusual and fabulously cute! I'm just grinning like a nut over his scruffy and very sparse downy feathers and that irresistibly adorable expression. Your coloring is amazing with the pencils. Wish you lived nearby so you could show me your tricks. I honestly need to study up on this. Love the perfect shading and those white speckles on his cheeks. Sigh... I just love it when you color!
