Hi everyone. I can't believe I haven't posted all week, but I'm back to do just that. It's been a busy week, and the weather is slowly warming up. Yesterday I spent some time outside raking up all the sunflower seed shells from my bird feeders. It's amazing how much has accumulated on the ground since the winter began. And then got really ambitious and clean the BBQ - you know all the droppings the collect underneath in the catch tray. Scrapped the whole inside out, so it was nice and clean and ready to go. Then I BBQ'd burgers for dinner and made a potato salad. It was delicious!
Okay enough about all that, now for my card. I really should be focusing on my card orders. BUT.. Since my hairdresser closed shop, tI took the basket I usually leave at her place, and brought it into work. Well, sales are booming. I sold a few, have orders for 16 more and that is not including Mother's Day cards, which I already have about 10 spoken for- Yikes. But.... for some reason I was looking through some of my stamps I have and came across this adorable one, which again have had for over a year but never used it!! I'm so bad at that.
This image is from LOTV - not sure of the name I couldn't find it in their online store, maybe it's discontinued.
I coloured this image using prismacolour pencils. I even did some clouds in the background. I saw a tutorial a while ago on how to do this - is is simple easy - tear a piece of paper towel and (they used an airbrush) and then lay it onto your card stock and use a sponge and sponge away, move the paper towel around to form the clouds. I will be using this technique a lot, so easy - compared to when I tried to draw clouds - well lets not go there!
I added a frame to the image using IO die -6 in 1- 242-YY. Love the possibilities with this die set.
Designer paper is Basic Grey - Urban Prairie. The pink paper is cut using MFT - blueprints #15. I then added some white flower rub-ons down the left side (see I'm trying to use what I have - rather than buy more - I have so many of these rub-ons, need to use them more often).
The sentiment is from LOTV as well. There are 12 different says. I stamped this on white c/s using black versafine then cut it out using a circle die, then glued this to the frame. I used my new die that I bought yesterday at Paper Pickle - Memory Box - curled ribbons - cut one out of the pink paper and added it to the corner of the frame - then added a yellow flower rhinestone.
I added some wink of stella clear pen on the flowers and leaves, white flock on the bunnies tale, then some coloured sequins to finish off.
supplies:
Stamp - LOTV
Ink - black memento, black versafine, prismacolour pencils, SU soft sky, certainly celery
Dies - MFT - blueprints #15, Memory Box - curled ribbon, IO - 6 in one die set
Paper - cougar white 100 lb, Basic Grey- Urban Prairie, Kraft
Misc - wink of stella pen, rhinestone, sequins
Thanks for the visit - have a wonderful day.
Pauline

Love your frame, your coloring..that cloud technique is gorgeous! (I really need to try that) I can see why business is booming, your work is fantastic!
Okay, first of all... ADORABLE! Oh, my gosh, I can't get over how cute this is! Love all the LOTV stamps but have none. Colored some images that someone gave me once... still have one left to color. But talk about being bad -- I have so many uncolored images and never-been-inked stamps. I can't even think about the digis. Maybe I'll catch up after retirement? We'll see. Anyway, love how you did the clouds, and your coloring all over is just wonderful. I'm not surprised that business is booming. They must just flip over these cards! I sure hope you'll share all those cards you're going to be making. BTW, I didn't post a single thing all last week, so don't feel bad. You're so worth waiting for!
Love your gorgeous, adorable card.
luv

How adorable!!!! the window is wonderful. So springy and sweet. Darling card.
I'm sure glad you found a new home for your card sale box. You produce quality and that sells. The card is so cute. Love the LOTV bunnies and I might have to get one of those frame dies. :-)
