Holiday thoughts

I back today with a 'cutsie" card to share before heading off to work.  I'm using some images from Purple Onion - Stacey Yakula images from last year.  I bought them last Dec, and never had a chance to play with them.

I coloured the branch using memento bamboo leaves then stamped onto my card stock.  I then used my stamp positioner to place the little bird and the same with the hanging ornament.  I then coloured the images using copics for the ornament and pencils for the bird (don't ask why I used two different mediums because I really don't know why).   Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

To finish off I added some glitter  and some clear sequins.

I made 6 of these, this was a quick card to mass produce.

Thanks for stopping in, have a wonderful day - keep warm and safe if you are experiencing the winter weather that has landed.. brrrrr......... but I can't complain we received about 2-3 inches where buffalo received upwards of 6 ft - and that's only about 4 hours away!

  1. Hi Pauline,

Ahhhh so cute. Love it. We are lucky up to now in GB. The weather has been kind to us. Not even switched the central heating on yet!!!! Only hope we don't suffer later.

    Have a lovely weekend.

    Much love,

  2. Pauline, this is the cutest little thing! I absolutely love it! An easy mailer, too. The sentiment is very nice, and the card altogether just gives me a happy heart. Six of these is a nice little jump on your Christmas cards. Seems like I've been making them forever, and still don't have enough. Stay warm up there in the snow. Down here on the coast we're just wet and expecting high winds and possible flooding tomorrow.
