Welcome baby

Hi, I'm back today to share another baby card.  I had a request from a co-worker for a baby shower card. She specified - if I could- a card with an owl - the expected Mother has the nursery in an 'owl' theme.  So I browsed several blogs and pinterest to get ideas, and at this time Papertrey Ink was just starting to showcase their August release sneak peaks. The were showing an owl die, but I new I did have time to order and get it here in Canada in time for when she needed the card,...... so I winged it, and this is what I came up with.

After making this one I made 3 more for my sale basket.  No need to go into details, I will list the supplies below.

Supplies:
Paper - MME - fine and dandy - true blue, white c/s, pink c/s
Die - spellbinder oval, scallop oval, Memory box - branch,  EK success border punch
misc - buttons, googly eyes, twine

thanks for stopping by, enjoy your week!

You "winged" it -- tee hee! What a CUTE baby card this is, and I do love baby cards! The paper couldn't be more perfect. Love how you made the owl from felt since it is, after all, a baby card. These will be a hit in the sale basket, too. Awesome, as always, Pauline!

That owl looks just as fine as any die set could do. Fantastic mix of dies and hand cut pieces. I adore owls and I bet those cards won't be in that basket for long. I have that branch die and now you've given me some ideas on how to use it. SUPER cute!!! Hugs!

Okay when I read she wanted an ""owl" baby card I was probably thinking the same as you. BUT you did FABULOUS! Oh my word... this is totally cute and so sweet. I never would of thought of it with an owl. Darling all around. She will love it and great idea making a few extra!
