Along the shores of Lake Superior

Sorry no card to share today, I thought I best share these photos of our trip up to Sault Ste Marie in May.  You can click the picture to make them bigger for viewing.

These  were taken at sunset the first day we arrived. It was absolutely beautiful to say the least! You can see they still had snow on the lake and shorelines.  Very late for the end of May, but that goes to show you the harsh long winter we had this year.

These next ones were taken on one of hiking days through Lake Superior Provincial Park at Sinclair Cove.  It was a very calm day, no wind, sun was coming up, but very muted behind the soft white clouds. It was a so tranquil.

After a morning of rain on day 3, we stopped at Kitty's Cove in the park and took these shots

During the day of off and on rain, there was lots of fog over the lake.  We ventured up to a hilltop lookout and Bill captured this, a panoramic view from above

This photo was taken at Sinclair Cove - Bill did a  panoramic view.  This one is now framed in our living room.  Picture measures 33 x 13 not including mat and frame.  Its gorgeous!

Thanks for letting me share our photos.

See you real soon with a card to share.

Oh, my gosh, sooooo beautiful! The combination of grand sky over the water and the colorful rocks along the shoreline is truly breathtaking! I'm so glad you shared these. Nature lover here. We were up the river with the dogs all yesterday and I didn't want to come home, but work today, grrrrrr. You have some MOST beautiful scenery near you and Bill does a wonderful job of capturing its essence!

Pauline -
I always look forward to seeing Bill's pictures. He is an amazing photographer. He always knows how to pick the right scenes, angles, lighting. I love that he does colour and B&W. You can never go wrong with a beautiful B&W scene. They are all beautiful. Please keep them coming. You both have such great talent. Nancy Tuttens
