Birthday blessings

Hi all.  It's been a while since I last posted.  I'm knee deep in Christmas card orders as well as working + overtime, which isn't leaving a lot of time to do much of anything else.  With that being said, I needed some 'me' time, so last night my daughter Karen and I went to see the Vienna Boys Choir in town.  Phenomenal!!!  These boys range from age 10 - 14 and wow! could they sing. It was very entertaining and well worth the night out.

I'm sharing a card I made a month or so ago.  Quite simple, yet pretty.

Not a lot of explanation needed on this one.  Not sure of the name of the paper used, it was in my scrap bin.  Dies used - spellbinders - oval, foral oval, Memory box - chloe stem.  Sentiment is from Verve stamped in Black Versafine.

Finished it off with some pearls, ribbon and some flowers.
A quick card and a great way to use some of your scraps.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day.  It's a cold one here in SW Ontario.   -7C with the windchill it feels like -17C.
BRRRRRRRR........ keep warm! We did not receive the snow, just the cold air and wind.  East of us in London & Toronto received the snow (and personally they can have it!).

See you again soon,
Pauline

I love it when you stamp! Sometimes the stamping is easier than the blogging, isn't it? A card with no coloring comes together quickly, but this doesn't look like you spared any creativity on it. It's gorgeous! I love the flower arrangement with the stems. So pretty! And the paper with the sentiment stamped directly onto the softly patterned oval, sigh... You really know how to put a card together!
