Sweet as candy

As promised, I said I would be back today with another card to share with you, and here I am.
I thought I would treat you to something sweet.  I started colouring this up on Friday night and finished it last night.

This is Uptown Girl Claudia has a candy.

After I stamped her on bella's bestest paper I coloured the base layer of her using copics then did the rest of the colouring with prismacolour pencils.  Paper is  by Basic Grey called Picadilly. After cutting her down to size I sponged some SU pink pirouette around her, layered her onto a piece of light pink bazzill paper then stitched around the edges.

For the flowers on the side I used a Memory Box die called fancy blossoms - if you have never tried these dies, they are a dream to use, they cut light butter.

Finished off with a piece of silk ribbon for the bow on her lollipop, glitter, and pearls for the flower centers. This image does come with it's own sentiment but I choose not to use it this time.

Don't forget about our challenge this friday - it's an easy one - birthday wishes - lots of bella images to choose from that fits this, so I hope you will play along with us.  Just email Emily your card by thursday night.

Thanks for stopping in today, till next time.....

Oh my word this is lovely Pauline! I'm slowly building my Uptown girls collection. Wish I could afford to buy them all at once but I have to be patient. LOL Beautiful coloring! Hugs!

Wow, sweetest! Love the image and your amazing coloring. I think these Bellas must be my fantasy stamps or something. I don't own any, but I think they're darling and I love to see them colored up all cute like this. You do such a great job with them!
