Hey folks, it's friday - woohoo! and it's Bellariffic friday. This week our challenge was a sketch - we are up to sketch 17 - 8 more to go till the end of the year - hard to imagine, but time sure if flying.
This is this weeks challenge we had to follow:
I thought it was going to be an easy one to follow, but
must confess I struggled with it. Not sure why, but I think
I pulled it off!
I debated about using flowers (which I love anything nature - hint hint - Emily, we need more flower images), but as I flipped through my bella binders I came across some images that I have not touched in quite some time.
So, for today's image I'm using a Stella - this one is called
Gossipy Stella- I just love these images, they are fun to
colour.
Next issue I had was what papers to use - geez with having a kazillion sheets of paper and lots of 6x6 you would think this
wouldn't be a problem, so after about 20 min I came across this
6x6 MME - Hazel. Good ole' faithful MME papers are!!
I know your dying to see the card, so here you go:
I stamped her on bella's bestest paper with black memento, and coloured her with copics. The shading around her was done with pencils. Sentiment I used can be found here.
Dies used were spellbinders oval and scallop oval, and for the sentiment I used a spellbinder tag die.
Finished it off with some glitter and a bow.
Your going to love next weeks challenge - 'back to school' for all you Moms out there who have school age children are probably more excited then they are that school has begun or will shortly! If you get a chance to play along with us, you can email your card to Emily by thursday night. Your name will go in a draw for $20 in bella bucks.
Enjoy your weekend, and thanks for coming by today.

You certainly did pull it off!! Love this one Pauline... perfect choice on the papers and love the soft pink shading around Stella.
Love this Pauline - you certainly wouldn't know you struggled with it! I had to laugh to myself though, as I was thinking wow, how clever is that dual background paper behind the oval...clearly I totally missed that in my card :) Your colouring of Stella is superb as always!
You totally nailed the sketch! I can totally relate to how long it can take to find the perfect paper
Yup - you totally nailed this! Those papers and Stella look Divine! For as much as I seem to see in a sketch - yours always seem to follow it exactly! And the bow adds the perfect touch!
Isn't it funny how it can turn into such a struggle? I go through that all the time! The end result you achieved is fabulous, though. So adorable!
