Welcome to another Bellariffic friday ladies. So glad it's friday - it's a 3 day weekend for us, and it looks like a very hot one at that.
For today's challenge we had a sketch to follow - sketch #13. I love sketches to follow, it makes card making so much easier don't you think? Without the sketch it can take me a couple of hours on top of colouring my image just to figure out how I'm going to put it all together.
Anyway, this week I used Bessie Lulu. Here she is:
I stamped her on bella's bestest paper using black memento ink. She was coloured using copics and then I shaded using prismacolour pencils and gamsol. After cutting her out I sponged some versamagic spring pansy around her with the die in place. Paper is Basic Grey - Kioshi - love the purples in this collection. Can you tell purple is one of my favourite colours?
For the sentiment I used 'thinking of you' from the Uptown girl Winnie. I moved it up onto my image rather than below like in the sketch. Finished with some Martha Stewart purple seam binding ribbon, glossy accents on the centers of the flowers, and glitter on her dress.
Want a chance to win some Bella bucks? Then stop over at Bloggabella and see what the other babes and sistahs did for this week, and leave a comment. It's that easy!
Next week our challenge is add embossing to your card - so you can either use embossing powder to emboss or dry embossing - stenciling- the choice is yours. Email your card to Emily by thursday night for your card to be on Bloggabella and a chance to win some bella bucks.
Thanks for stopping in today, hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy!

Pauline - you're slaying me. It's safe to say that I swoon after each and every visit to your blog. Your talented eye for color and blending has breathed life into sweet Bessie Lulu. It is such a privilege to ogle over your artwork. Superb!
Hi, Pauline! Had to stop over to see what you did with the Kioshi paper. This is so cute! Love this particular piece of the paper, and it goes so well with Bessie LuLu. Love the name. Why, she's almost as cute as my little LuLu! I'm the same way when it comes to putting the card together. I should use sketches more often.
Pauline this is fabulous - the soft shades of purple are perfect for this Lulu. Have a great long weekend!!
