Restful

Happy Friday everyone! It's been a very busy  month for me.  I am starting in a new role on Monday at my workplace, so I've been training people on my current job.  Totally exhausted by the end of the day to say the least, both mentally and physically!  Hence, the reason for not a lot of postings.

I did manage to make a wedding card but I don't have it photographed yet. But what I will share with you are some Christmas cards.  Now, I'm sure you have seen similar samples on the Penny Black blog. I basically  took Jill's instructions and colours and went to town.  This stamp is called Restful.

Again, not my idea, but I love the outcome I just had to share.  Good thing for my Misti.

Here are the 3 cards I made, using distress inks, tombow markers, white gel pen, and white paint. I didn't have all the same colours of ink and brand types that Jill used, so I substituted for what I had.  Not a lot of explaining so I'll just leave you with the samples.

Which is your favourite?

Have a wonderful weekend.
Pauline

I think I like the first one the best. Just something about the blue and yellow combo. All three are beautiful though. I love watching her PB videos. She makes things look so easy. Great job! Hugs!

Pauline, these are all stunning! But if you are going to make me choose my favourite....I will say the first one!

Oh, my word, they look and sound complex but, ohhhh, so beautiful! Maybe I should watch more videos. These are exquisite! The first and second are my favorites, but I absolutely love the third with the pretty blue/green and glorious glow. The snow splatters and shading and white highlighting on all three is outstanding. You amaze me! I hope you feel better soon. I understand the exhaustion from work, and you mentioned your hands in a comment. Darn body can betray us sometimes. Hugs, Pauline.

The shading on each one is gorgeous and the hints of white look fantastic. Simply gorgeous trio indeed! now rest up while you can and enjoy the new tasks at work. hee hee

WOW! Pauline, these are gorgeous, and I love watching Jill Foster and seeing the "magic" appear with all the work. Each one is so different and yet stunning. I love the white gel pen to add snow on the trees and those sweet little cardinals. Congratulations on the new job, and Stacy is right -- wonderful that you are training your replacement! Hugs!
