Magenta Silhouette
Good morning. I'm back today to share another card I made using the Magenta Nuance powder inks.
Yes, these powder inks are similar to Colour Burst and many other brands that are out there. I love them, you will never get the same background twice.
After my background was dry, I stamped a Magenta solid flower, (no name on the package) using my Misti of course, as I wanted to make sure I had nice dark crisp image as the water colour paper (Prima) is textured.
I then used PTI die set to cut it out. I wasn't thinking when I used this die that it would also cut a scallop border and release the inside as well. No worries, I just glued it down flat!
To add a bit of interest to the card base, I cut another piece of black c/s using MFT die-namics blueprints 27 - used the scallop border die.
I added some black silk ribbon and a couple of glittered dots.
There you have it, pretty simple. I left the inside blank so it can be used for many occasions.
Enjoy the rest of your week, see you again real soon! Have a wonderful day.
Pauline

Oh, my word, the black silhouette against the rich background is strikingly beautiful! The way the die cut it just gives it that little extra bit of texture. And your black ribbon and bow is elegant and classy. Love those glitter dots, too. Everything is so balanced and perfectly gorgeous!
Hi Pauline,
Simple but stunning. Love it. Thank you for sharing.
Much love,

Pauline, this is GORGEOUS and so striking! I love the richness and great contrast. Amazing how all these color powders are so popular, and yet I've not owned one...yet! Truly, your background color is amazing, and I love the silhouette stamp and love the scalloped die. Now who doesn't LOVE scallops? And I always love your beautiful bows! Stunning, sweet friend! Hugs!
Beautiful card Pauline! Strikingly gorgeous!
Such beautiful effects with those powders. Pretty, pretty!
