Retirement card

Hi, I'm back, sorry for being away all week.  It's been a very busy week at work. I haven't been in the mood for card making, but I had to push myself to do this card because it was needed for this week. Maybe it is the winter gloom- we were teased with some warmer weather last week, and then it flipped back to winter all over again.  Can't wait till spring - with some warm sunshine!

Okay, onto my card.  My daughter requested a 'retirement card' for one of the ladies she works with. Of course, I said yes!  And you know me, I love to do fussy cards with all the die cuts and flowers, pearls etc. This is the end result:

Not much explaining on this, so I will leave it there. Once all put together I used my wink of stella clear pen to added sparkle to all the flowers.  It is very pretty IRL!

I appreciate you stopping by, enjoy the rest of your day.

Pauline

Wow - this is beautiful. The colour and arrangements of flowers is stunning. I love your dies you used and the fine details to finish this card - the pearls, Stella wink on the flowers and of course your DP. The recipient of this retirement card will love and cherish it. Hope all works out at work :) you are an awesome hard employee so that should pull a lot of weight!

Hi Pauline,

I have got everything crossed for you, hope it all works out for you at work. This card is absolutely stunning. Those colours were made for each other, turquoise, orange and white mmmmmm. The lady that is retiring is soooo lucky to receive this card.

Much love,

Just WOW, Pauline! I'm glad your daughter gave you a reason to make this beautiful card. I hope it was a few happy, stress-free moments for you. Such pretty colors in shades of blue and peach and a soft orange. Gorgeous die cuts, artfully arranged. In Feedly I read about your work issues. I could never create when I was stressed, which was most of the time when I was working. I stamped, but I pushed myself to do so as I was on design teams. I hope everything works out for the best.

Stunning! I love that big rose, especially in that color. The die cuts in white make all the colors pop beautifully. Hugs!
