My card today features a Simon Says die - thanks scallop border. Love the scallop edging as well as the piercing on this die.
I first cut the thanks die using white card stock. I then ventured into my scrap basket and pulled out this pretty print paper. Not sure of the company name of this as it was just scrap pieces, but I don't think this company is around anymore. The solid pink colour card stock was just scrap pieces as well. Great way to use those cut off ends for projects like this.
I cut a piece of the solid card stock to fit behind the "thanks' to make it stand out. I used PTI scallop die (medium) to cut a couple of pieces of scallop edgings for the top.
The flower is from SU - stippled blossoms, using Altenew Blush & Crimson for the inks. I then cut the flower out. The leaves were previously stamped off a while ago, but I think I used SU inks.
To finish off I added a glitter enamel dot for the center of the flower and a silk bow.

Well, I can hardly express how utterly charming and pretty I find your card, Pauline! The double scallop above with the pearls and bow, and that very cool die forming a border below... I just love that sweet and dainty paper, too. It reminds me of Chatterbox, which was always so pretty and often had a linen-like texture. I still have some, different pattern. The flower with it's glittery center is the perfect finishing touch. All so beautifully matched. Wow!
So dainty and feminine. It makes you feel the sincerity of the thanks. Hugs!
