Seeds of Today

Hello everyone! Well I'm back again - sorry it's been a while.  I really struggled this time trying to get back at stamping.  Usually after a couple of weeks I'm raring to get back at it, as much as I wanted to I just couldn't get into the groove.

So Thursday night I forced myself to colour something. I printed a couple of digital images from Power Poppy and began to colour.  I eventually finished a card on Sunday morning, so today I will share that with you.

I'm using Power Poppy digital image called 'Seeds of Today".  I am also going to enter this into their challenge for the month of January.

Before I printed this digi off, I added a sentiment from 'winter pick-me up'.  Once coloured using prisma colour pencils I cut out the image use a scallop die from MFT.

Papers used are from Kaisercraft - Charlotte's Dream.  Along side the chocolate brown I added a strip of gold/copper coloured glitter ritz paper just for some added interest.

I finished off with some seam binding ribbon, and glitter on the flowers.

Supplies:
stamp - Power Poppy digital image - Seeds of Today
ink - prismacolour pencils & gamsol
paper - white cougar, SU watermelon wonder, PTI - chocolate
die - MFT - stitched mini scallop
misc - seam binding ribbon, hero arts glitter, quickie glue pen

I just finished another card last night, so will be back soon to share that with you.

I hope you have a wonderful day! It's my Flex Monday off - lots of errands to run, but hope to get some more card making in.

Thanks for your visit, always appreciated.

Pauline

Whew, now I can cancel the search party! Pauline, it makes my heart glad to see your card today. Not only is it a pretty image with your expert coloring, which I always love to see, but it's a favorite PP sentiment. I've never even colored this one yet, and you make me wonder why, but I've got so many stamps and digis not yet colored. I love the way you combine papers, so nicely coordinated with your coloring and the ribbon. I don't know why, but I'm having a hard time with the stamping since Christmas, too. You were so busy with the wedding and then Christmas on top of working, so you have a good excuse. May this card be just the beginning of much happy stamping. Looking forward to the next one!

Oh Pauline. I feel for you that your mojo just isn't quite back. I know it is painful. We all know it will come back - your mind is saying you just need a little more time. We will patiently await your burst of mojo. I love your card. Not only are you a master at colouring but also at pulling different DPs together. This is a masterpiece that you could frame and hang up. Thank you for sharing. Hang in there. You will be back full steam soon

Oh, Pauline, you may feel like your mojo is lost, but it surely isn't at all! I love this beautiful image and your lovely coloring. I'm slowly working on trying to do a little coloring with pencils, but your coloring with them is beautiful. And I love how you put together lovely pieces of DP and such a great layout! This is stunning, Pauline, and don't worry about pushing. You just do it on your time schedule. I think we all had so much to do, and with the wedding, you had a real excuse to not stamp as much. Looking forward to your next card. Warm hugs, sweet friend, and thanks for sharing this beauty!! xoxo

I think this turned out beautiful, we are all too hard on ourselves. The scallop and pierced circle is perfect. Wonderful coloring and soothing colors. Looks beautiful Pauline. Thanks for playing in our Power and Spark Winter Blooms challenge this month.
