Hi everyone - hope you had a good week.
Just a quick card to share today - no colouring involved, just die cutting and stamping.
I stamped the sentiment from MFT's - cheerful blessing on cream c/s then cut it out using SB fancy label tags one. The layer behind the sentiment was also cut from the same tag set (this set has 3 dies).
Next layer behind is cut using SB timeless rectangle, and to cut my background paper I used MFT - blueprints #13 die. I love the stitched edge on this.
Designer paper is from Authentique - Gathering collection 6x6. Finished off with some cream ribbon, prima rossette and some rhinestones.
That's it for today, thanks for the visit, till next time....

Springtime Love
One can wish that springtime is just around the corner, can't I? We missed the major snow storm that New York and Eastern USA received today, but we have one coming our way on Thursday. I'm sure it's not to the magnitude that they received, but as far as I'm concerned snow is snow! Roughly 2 more months till spring! yeah!!!
Keeping on the theme of flowers which I have been colouring up as of late, I pulled out one of my Power Poppy stamp sets. I see that Marcella's design team is showing some sneak peaks of her next release this week, and before I get so overwhelmed with her new images I though I best get some of my uninked stamps inked up. I'm using one of the stamps from the Springtime Love sets. I am also entering into this weeks Peep of the Week challenge.
Image was stamped on white 110 lb cards stock using black memento. I then coloured using copics (shown below). I then cut the image out using spellbinders labels #14, left the die in place and lightly sponged some SU almost amethyst. All designer papers are from MME - Lavender 6x6 pack.
I cut a circle (wood grain) out of one of the designs from the pack which was layered onto a butterfly die cut, cut from PTI - sweet blush.
Designer paper was cut down to 5 1/8 x 5 1/8 and then layered onto a piece of SU almost amethyst c/s. Added a piece of lace as well as one of the cut off ends of the dp, and used the flip side. Added some stitching around the edges. From the other cut off end I cut a flag banner and adhered to the top left corner.
Copic colours:
To finish off I added a seam binding ribbon bow, which I coloured using some white seam binding and copic B63. I used the butterflies from the butterfly circle die ( I also cut one from the almost amethyst c/s, but opt to go with the soft blush) and added some pearls. Finished cards size 5.5 x 5.5.
Supplies:
stamps - Power Poppy - springtime love
ink- black memento - copics (shown above), SU- almost amethyst
papers - 110lb cougar white, SU almost amethyst, PTI - soft blush, MME - Lavender
dies - spellbinders - circle, labels #14, butterflies circle, MFT - flag stax
misc - seam binding ribbon, pearls, lace, foam tape
Thanks for stopping in today, see you again real soon....

A bit of sunshine...
Well lately we haven't see much sun at all, just typical gloomy, snowy, cold winter days. So to bring a bit of cheer I wanted to colour up something that makes me smile - flowers! I absolutely love colouring anything flower related. When I was on that little purging and organizing a few weeks back after the holidays, I found many stamps that have not even seen ink yet! How bad is that?
I came across this stamp I'm using today, a Penny Black sunflower stamp. Penny Black is one of the first stamp companies I started to collect. I just love all of the brushstroke floral images along with all their flower/nature stamps. I am a sucker for anything floral, I have no will power and just have to have them. I saw a sneak peak of their CHA release and oh my, oh my, I'm in trouble! Yikes.
Okay, so lets get on with my card. This image is called Sunny Pair.
I stamped the image on white c/s using black memento ink and then coloured using copics. I also did some shading using prismacolour pencils.
After this was coloured, I cut out the image using Spellbinder rectangle die, left the die in place and sponged some antique linen and soft sky this kind of gave it a green look. This was then layered onto a piece of dark chocolate c/s.
Designer paper is by Prima - Sunkiss. These papers are 6x6, so in order to keep the border on the paper around my card, I cut a piece out of it, then taped it back together on the back side. To hide the seam after I layered this onto some chocolate c/s, then wrapped some twine around that area. Love it when little tricks like this work. I cut a couple of little flag ends and glued them to the back of the image, then added some foam tape to the back and popped it onto my card.
To finish off I added a PTI brown button which was threaded with some twine and tied a bow on the back side and adhered to the top. Used my wink of stella pen - clear, to add some glitter to the flowers and the used some glossy accents on the center of the two flowers.
I have a new little Penny Black die coming in the mail this week that says 'smile', so think I might cut one out and layer it along the bottom of the image. I will have to wait and see if I like the look of that or not.
Well, that's about it for me for today. I hope to get another card made this weekend, so off to see what I can whip up! Thanks for your visit today, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Celebrate today
Hope your week is going well. I'm back today to share another creation using a variety of dies.
I originally started out by wanting to make a birthday card, but I think you could use this for a wedding card as well.
Not a whole lot of explanation on this one, so I will just list the supplies I used.
Supplies:
Dies - spellbinders - victorian medallion three, royal circles
stamps - PTI - mixed messages
ink - black versafine
paper - kaisercraft - on this day, gold mirri, PTI cream
misc - silk ribbon, pearls
Well that's it for me. Enjoy the rest of your week, and thanks for stopping by.

Chicks rule
Not sure what has come over me, but so far this year this is my second challenge that I have submitted a card for. I normally never participate in challenges, not that I don't like them, but mostly it's a timing thing, where I just don't have the time. So maybe this is my year to change that.
I'm entering my card in this weeks Stamping Bella sketch challenge. I didn't have much to actually fit in the circle for my image, so I changed the circle to an oval. Image is called Chicks Rule.
Not a whole lot of explanation on this one. I used lots of copic colours to colour this chick! Ground shading and shading around the chick was done using prismacolour pencils and blended with gamsol. Designer papers are by Memory Box. Dies used are spellbinders oval and a Nellie Snellen die called border lace - flower. I added some crystal rhinestones along the top of the border and one on her crown, and also added glitter to the fur on her robe to finish this off.
Sorry for the quick post, but it's almost 11 pm and I wanted to get this done before heading off to bed.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.

Where there is love....
Happy Monday everyone. Well this is a happy monday for me, because I have the day off. No plans, other than hopefully work on some more cards.
Yesterday afternoon I pulled out me new Verve set - More than love. I love the sentiments that come with this set. After looking through some of my 6x6 paper pads I decided to go the the Prima - Tea thyme. So with lots of die cutting, this is what I came up with.
I began by cutting out a tag shape by using a Verve die. I placed the die on the paper to incorporate some of the flowers on one side. I then stamped the sentiment using black versafine. After playing around with several dies and about an hour of time I finally made a decision on how to finish this.
I cut a piece of vellum using Marvelous Squares. I adhered this to the middle of my base designer paper. Next I used a die from Anna Griffin, then used labels #6 for the green layer, then sponged the edges with gathered twigs.
The Eiffel Tower was cut from a piece of brownish/grey c/s. I wanted something a little more sturdy, so I cut it again using some chip board. I coloured the chipboard by sponging some distress gathered twigs. I then glued the c/s to the chipboard, then sponged some gathered twigs around the edges.
To finish off I added a piece of tattered pearl lace along the top. Added some silk ribbon to the tag along with a little bow made with my bow maker, then added dimensionals to the back of the tag to give it some height off of the card. I cut one of the flourishes from - SB corners and accents and adhered that to the right side of the green layer. I then cut the flourish again from some bazzill quartz c/s and then just cut the flourish part off and adhered the heart flower part over the green flourish then added a pearls.
Supplies:
Stamps - Verve - More than love
Dies - MFT - Eiffel tower, Spellbinders - labels 6, corners and accents, marvelous squares, Anna Griffin - Flourish Medallion
Paper - Prima - Tea Thyme, bazzill quartz, chipboard, vellum, brown/grey c/s
Ink - black versafine, distress ink - gathered twigs
Misc - silk ribbon, pearls, tattered lace w/pearls, bow maker, SU dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by. Take care and have a good week.

Stamping Bella challenge - Seniorita
It's been quite a while since I participated in a Stamping Bella challenge, and as I was colouring up my image I realized that the challenge this friday was 'anything goes' so this worked out perfectly.
I have several new Stamping Bella images from the past couple releases that I haven't had a chance to colour yet, so thought it was about time I did.
The image I'm using today is called Seniorita - Millicent - isn't she cute! I think the sentiment suits me to a tee! LOL - Isn't it terrible when you go into a mall or work, and you come out hours later and don't remember where you parked!!! this is so me!
Millicent is stamped on cougar 110 lbs white card stock with black memento. I coloured her using copics. I used the rectangle stitched die from MFT blueprint die-namics #13 to cut her out. I cut a couple of flag tags from designer paper using MFT flag stax dies. Sentiment included with this set was stamped using black versafine.
To finish off I added some glossy accents on her glasses and a button on the flag stax.
That's it for today, thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.
supplies:
Stamp - Stamping Bella - Seniorita Millicent
Paper - cougar 110lb white, MME - Indie Chic - Saffron, pink bazzill
Ink - black memento, black versafine
Die - MFT - blueprints die-namics #13, flag stax
copics - E000, E00, E01, E11, R20, R23, r81, R83, R85, B0000, B000, C00, C01, C02, C03, C07, E42,W2, W3

Painted Flowers
Good morning to all on this cold, blistery winter morning here in SW Ontario. Wind chills today to reach -23 C (-9F). Although it is cold, we did escape the freezing rain and snow that fell on other parts of Ontario and Eastern Canada. We just had a dusting of snow, but strong winds and a bit of snow which are to continue all week.
During my off time through the holidays, I managed to get several cards done - which I'm so happy about. So my plan is each week to do at least 2-3 new cards to keep myself ahead, and also keep notes of what supplies I used so when I do go to post the card at a later date I have the list of supplies I used to pass onto you.
The card I'm showing you today is made using a new set from Altenew called Painted Flowers. This set is a 3 step stamping - love these types of stamps - love the dimension you get.
I started by cutting a white panel to fit inside the embossed area. I then took some my ink pads - PTI - Aqua mist, & Hawaiian shores and rubbed them on my teflon mat, spritzed, then picked up the paint using an old tooth brush and flicked it onto my panel. I must of had some glitter ink on there previously because when you tilt the card you can see glitter sparkles - so pretty.
I then followed the 3 step process to stamp the flowers and leaves. I then added a couple of outline leaves to fill in some spaces as well as the 3 little dots from the set PTI - Life is beautiful.
I stamped an extra flower on some scrap white c/s and then cut it out and popped up over the other flowers. Used my silver krylon pen and edged the panel before adhering to the embossed panel.
To finish I added the sentiment which was stamped in black versafine, added some glitter to the flowers using my wink of stella clear pen, and then added some sequins. I kind of like just the one turquoise sequin mixed in with all the clear ones.
Okay, well that's it for today, off to get ready for work. Have yourself a wonderful week, my next card will be a Stamping Bella image - I'm going to participate in their challenge this week. Until next time....
Supplies:
Stamps - Altenew - painted flowers, PTI - Delightful Dahlia additon (sentiment), PTI - Life is beautiful - (for the 3 little dots)
paper - PTI aqua mist, white - 110lb cougar
ink - black versafine, PTI - aqua mist, hawaiian shores, spring moss, new leaf
Misc - SU embossing folder, silver krylon pen, wink of stella pen, sequins

Don't Sweat it!
Happy New Year! I can't believe we are into a new year, where did 2014 go - it was a very fast year! Did you stay up and ring in the New Year, or were you like this ole' gal at hit the pillow at 10? LOL - I never seem to make it to midnight anymore - all my party days are done!
To start the new year off with a bang, I thought I would share a card I made before Christmas. Just looking at the image, it brings back many new years resolutions that I have broken in the past - dieting! Exercise, exercise, exercise! Well I must admit over the 2 weeks I was off, I did put on a couple of lbs, (just so much good food around and I have a very sweet tooth!) so now I'm focusing on taking those off - for me it's exercising (I do my daily 1/2 hr brisk walk) and drink plenty of water - along with following the WW plan.
Art Impressions - Don't Sweat It:
Is this not hilarious? I love these AI Images. I stamped her onto white cougar 110 using black memento and the coloured using copics. Sorry since I did this before Christmas I never kept track of the colours I used. This was then cut using a circle spellbinder die and then layered onto a piece of cut black c/s.
Designer paper is from Kathy Davis - Journeys - I picked this up at Joanne Fabrics a while ago. I was going to make a flag tag for the sentiment but decided to stamp it down in the bottom right corner, then balance this out with placing 2 black Bella dots in the top right corner, and 3 mini bella dots on the side of the image. And there you have it!
My days off have come to an end, I'm heading back to work tomorrow, but at least it's only for one day, then I have the weekend off. Enjoy your day!
