Garden Fireworks

Hi - hope your having a great weekend.  I'm back today to share another digital image I coloured up.
This one is Power Poppy's newest digi called Garden Fireworks - just love this, as I love all of her images.

After downloading I made several different sizes to print out.  I like doing this because I never know what dies or layout I might use, so having different sizes available makes it easier in the end.

So, with saying that I used one of the smaller images.  I'm also going to enter this into this months challenge - Pencil me in!

Sorry for the bit of shadowing in the picture.  I took this outside rather than in my shadow box.  I love how white the white is in the natural light.

I cut the image out using one of the dies from spellbinders Captivating Squares.  I then coloured the image using Caran D'Ache pencils and blended with gamsol. For my next layer under the image I used spellbinders ornate labels one embossing folder.  The folder is an A2 size, but I cut off the bottom portion once embossed and just kept the top portion.

Designer paper is a piece of 12 x 12 MME - Penny Lane. It's very lightweight paper so I layered this onto a piece of white card stock before adhering to the card base.  I wrapped some pink shimmery ribbon around the center portion of the card, popped the image up using some foam tape then adhered a tiny bow in the bottom corner of the image.  Added some pearls and glitter to the flowers.

A beautiful card for any occasion.  I think I'm just going to keep the liner blank and add it to my sale basket.

Thanks for visiting today.

  2. Have mercy! This fulfills the prettiness quota for the day (maybe the week), I think! Wow! The colors, the image, the dies and embossing -- all come together in the most beautiful package. Add to that the fabulous outdoor photo and I'm just in a swoon! Love seeing this in our Pencil Me In challenge, Pauline!
