Don't Sweat it!

Happy New Year!  I can't believe we are into a new year, where did 2014 go - it was a very fast year! Did you stay up and ring in the New Year, or were you like this ole' gal at hit the pillow at 10?  LOL - I never seem to make it to midnight anymore - all my party days are done!

To start the new year off with a bang, I thought I would share a card I made before Christmas.  Just looking at the image,  it brings back many new years resolutions that I have broken in the past - dieting!  Exercise, exercise, exercise!  Well I must admit over the 2 weeks I was off, I did put on a couple of lbs, (just so much good food around and I have a very sweet tooth!) so now I'm focusing on taking those off - for me it's exercising (I do my daily 1/2 hr brisk walk) and drink plenty of water - along with following the WW plan.

Art Impressions - Don't Sweat It:

Is this not hilarious?  I love these AI Images.  I stamped her onto white cougar 110 using black memento and the coloured using copics.  Sorry since I did this before Christmas I never kept track of the colours I used.  This was then cut using a circle spellbinder die and then layered onto a piece of cut black c/s.

Designer paper is from Kathy Davis - Journeys - I picked this up at Joanne Fabrics a while ago. I was going to make a flag tag for the sentiment but decided to stamp it down in the bottom right corner, then balance this out with placing 2 black Bella dots in the top right corner,  and 3 mini bella dots on the side of the image. And there you have it!

My days off have come to an end, I'm heading back to work tomorrow, but at least it's only for one day, then I have the weekend off.  Enjoy your day!

Oh, how fun! And the paper is perfect for the lighthearted image. Love those blues and greens and your incredibly awesome coloring. I'm off until Monday, but I'm already sweating it. It will be a mess when I return and will totally negate the vacation. Got to put that out of my mind for now. Ten more months! Happy new year, Pauline!

December and exercise are like oil and water. LOL. I've got to get back on track too. She's fabulous Pauline. The quirkiness of Art Impression stamps is what makes them so fun. Happy 2015!
